For more than 30 years, I had the perfect LAX parking routine. Park in Lot 1 at a reasonable price and walk to either Terminal 1 or 7, from which 99% of my flights originated. Home-to-gate or gate-to-home in 25 minutes (35 minutes post-9/11). Then "LAX-it" came, stole half of Lot 1, and ruined everything. I needed to find a new parking routine. After a lot of trial and error, I settled on The Parking Spot (Sepulveda).
The Parking Spot shuttles arrive and depart at reasonable intervals. Post "LAX-it," I used another big-name parking service at LAX, and I'd see two or three of the Parking Spot shuttles before one of theirs showed up. After a year of wasting time waiting for their shuttles, I changed to The Parking Spot. I still see more Parking Spot shuttles than those from that other competitor. In addition, the location on Sepulveda is very convenient.
I like that the app shows where the shuttles are, so even if there is a wait for the shuttle to make its way around the loop (this is LAX, after all), knowing that they are on the way reduces travel frustration.
I also like that they offer an AAA discount. It's not much, but it basically covers the 10% City of LA's robber baron parking tax. It more than covers the cost of my AAA annual membership, and I still get the great AAA roadside asisstance. I worry that The Parking Spot will stop waiving the reservation fee (after all, I'm doing all the work making the online reservation), which would make me reconsider using The Parking Spot. Metro has finally begun to get its LAX act together.
I miss my old Lot 1 parking routine, but nothing good lasts forever. The Parking Spot provides a reasonable alternative. I have to add, though, as a professor at UCLA, it kills me to ride your shuttles arrayed in the colors of that "school across town that shall not be named." The excellent service and reasonable value offered by the Parking Spot help me endure the pain.

The Spot is very efficient and helpful when picked up and dropped off at your car. Our last visit to The Spot was an unusual event. Our car is a 2022, hybrid. We left the car at The Spot for 15 days. When we came back it would not start. We could not open door with the "hidden key." I called AAA that we use for car problems.
Omar was the person at the gate for that shift. I explained the problem to him, that our car would not start, we probably would be there over our time limit and that I had called AAA to help us.
Omar was great. He said he would be there to let him in....it would not be a problem. Omar offered us cold water and encouraged us to sit in the office type area where it was air conditioned.
I was quite stressed by all this but Omar really did help decrease my anxiety bout this car not starting. He was very accommodating and inquired if there was anything else he could do to help.
Where do you find that kind of service nowadays? Obviously, at The Spot! All my working life was with the public .... I know how obnoxious they can be. Employees like Omar are one of a kind. I thank Omar for making a stressful situation less stressful for me! Thank you! Putter
I love the convenience. I don’t have to fight the traffic around the airport. It’s so easy to make a reservation ahead of time, and earning points for free days is a definite bonus. All of the drivers have been so nice and helpful.

Great shuttle service and helpfull drivers
Very easy in and out. Liked the ability to get driven directly to my car upon returning to the Parking Spot. Could use smoother riding vans though.
When I did not understand the app and was overcharged when I extended my time the Supervisor Nikita Radcliff listened to my concern and corrected my situation. I felt validated and extremely grateful I was refunded the overage. That is a good Supervisor!

Two policies that stand out to me is the driver takes me right to my car and then the carries my luggage and puts it in my trunk! I am 80 years old and can not lift it myself!
