The Magnolia, TX location rocks. Lois is the greatest because she cuts my hair EXACTLY like I want it cut. I love being able to choose my stylist, check in online, and walk in and sit in the chair. There is little or no waiting most of the time.I have been going there for many years.

I brought my 12-year old son to get his haircut yesterday, and his stylist was Sunni. (I believe that’s her name.) Sunni seemed she had just awakened from a nap because when we walked in, the other stylist was busy finishing up another haircut and was calling for Sunni to come out from the back because there was a customer (us). Sunni finally emerged after being called for a few times, looking like she was groggy and sleepy. This is why I say it seemed like she maybe was napping, but of course I can’t know for sure.
Anyway, as my son got into the chair, Sunni asked him what grade he was in. He said 7th. Sunni then said, “You’re really small for 7th grade.” My son is small for his age, and he obviously can’t help that. All he could respond with was a quiet “I know.”
I honestly don’t know what the purpose of Sunni’s remark was, but it was clear she didn’t mean it as a compliment. In the moment, I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to show I was angry because I didn’t want to convey to my son that being short was something deserving ridicule. But it was obvious to him that that’s what Sunni—an adult whom doesn’t even know him—was doing: ridiculing him. I honestly don’t know what the best retort by me should’ve been in the moment, but I do know that it’s something I shouldn’t have had to think about how to react to—because it’s not something that should have happened in the first place.
By the way, the haircut from Sunni was okay. I had to ask her to do some basic things at the very end like straighten his sideburns, which she seemed burdened by (this was long after the remark to my son).
On the drive home, I had a talk with my son and told him sometimes people say mean or thoughtless things to us, and we shouldn’t let it bother us and we should be the bigger person. It’s unfortunate that that kind of talk needs to happen with a child after a haircut at Sports Clips.
Everyone is so nice
Consistency of cut quality. Most are talented but one in a whilebwe get someone with less expertise.

The online log in makes it nice not to have to wait in line. The personal is professional and I always enjoy getting a haircut and wash there. The only complaint I have is them playing music, kind of loud and I enjoy watching whatever game is on the tv not music.
I took my 84-year-old father in for a haircut. He is in a wheelchair but can get up and down with assistance. Veronica was very friendly and helpful. His haircut and beard trim looked amazing. I will definitely take him back again and again. Thank you!

For the most part, every Sport Clips I’ve visited—and I’ve been to several in different locations—has been a good experience. However, my most recent visit to the Texas City, TX location was phenomenal.
The facility was clean, the atmosphere was great, and my barber, Christina, was absolutely amazing. Without question, she gave me the best haircut I’ve had in years. She has a great personality, is very personable, and carries herself with professionalism.
Christina definitely earned a repeat customer. As long as she’s there, I’ll be back whenever I’m in the area. I highly recommend her!
