Friendly, knowledgeable staff
Staff, open Sundays, and great amenities like the sauna
I like the fact that you've made room for Pickleball. It's only just one court but it's local and walkable for a few of us. I also like that you're keeping the Monday morning Gentle Fitness class, though I wish more people would attend.
I’ve been going to the Salem Y for over 30 years. In the past 5-10 years I do a lot of spin classes, as well as yoga, swimming, and the Fitness Center. The staff and instructors are all very friendly and helpful.
The Salem Y is a truly community organization in the best sense. It provides services through its day care programs, summer camps, after school programs and sports programs to young people from shortly after the cradle through the challenging middle school years and high school years. It offers activities and programs focused on athletics and meta-cognition to the post high school to seniors membership in ever evolving ways to remain relevant in today's world. Keep up the great work!
because it's clean and friendly. instructors are caring and knowledgeable leading the classes
Safe, comfortable space
Great employees, equipment and locker rooms.
Convenient. Good facilities. Friendly staff.
Its cool
Very convenient, kids club is great, and not too crowded.
Great staff, increasing number of yoga classes, good workout space.
Swim lessons. It’s important to have access to swim team in my community bc as a working single parent I could drive to Beverly
it rocks-although still missing belly dancing and other classes
the staff is great
The coaches are great
I really enjoy the warm and welcoming front desk and fitness room staff. In the fitness room I enjoy learning a new piece of equipment each visit. I am now using the rowing machine and will take Spin and pickelball. The draw for me is my love for the" the sled" the leg lift machine. A drawback is the parking but eventually I would like to try and walk from my house to the Y. I will also visit the Beverly Y and explire if any of their programs would be a good match for me.
everyone is very nice. The gym is my favorite. I am disabled, but with staff help I use a number of the machines. So works very well for my life.
Friendly, helpful staff, great teachers, loads of classes.
I like the giving Christmas tree.
The instructor is awesome, keeps my kids engaged, challenges them. He's wonderful.
Friendly,clean and great programs
It's an awesome place to visit and the staff is very courteous and super friendly and helpful
I like everything, though I don’t love snacks vs. dinner. I truly understand why. Don’t like encouraging snacking vs. meals. Not complaining simply a comment.
I love the variety of activities they do in a day.
I like that they have creative play, nap time and learn basic skills to get them ready for kindergarten. I also like that they have multiple places they can release their active energy in yoga, gym and outdoor play when the weather is nice.
The staff is great as well and all of these wonderful activities are because of the staff. I feel safe leaving my lovey with them.
Love the water programs
I love the pool and the classes offered. Everyone is friendly and approachable.
The Salem Y is not only a great place to work out, it is also a great place to make new friends and meet up with people...not only to work out, but maybe later to go out for coffee, or make plans to meet for a movie or a concert. It's become my social circle!
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean facility, and convenient scheduling
