The staff is very friendly and eager to help. The machines are always clean and well maintained. The plexi glass on the treadmills and ellipticals and spread out equipment keeps everyone safe and calm.

Knowledgeable caring instructors and staff. Afternoon (3 o’clock hour) classes available for after school. Don’t have to have an evening class on a school night.

The classes and instructors are amazing.
We are super impressed with our instructor Kate, and all the pool staff. My only complaint about lessons at the Salem Y, is the inconvenience of the changing areas and locker rooms. And the fact that only 2 of the 4 showers work in the girls room. We have to wait almost every time to get in the shower.
I found the Y to be cleaner then its ever been and I liked all the new equipment.
My children love coming every Saturday and swimming!

I like that they occur at our local YMCA so we don't have to travel much.
Very good they clean the sauna room and steam room which many YMCA's don't do, but also love the welcoming presence there from the front desk staff to the workers such as Tina and Matt those who work there and Mary she's such a kind lady and person and takes what she does very seriously, And works hard.
