The atmosphere is so welcoming. There’s a lot of fun things and activities to do for the whole family. The facility is very clean. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The training and staff helps you to meet your goals. Whether you want to workout in the weight area, or use the treadmill or play some basketball with friends or have a relaxing swim in the heated pool, it’s a fun time and fun place to be.

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

I love swimming as my primary fitness and all-around well-being activity.
The pool at the Cape Ann Y is a cheerful, well-kept and community-oriented place that makes me happy to be in. The water quality is amazing: it has minimal chlorine, it is crystal clear and for me it's just the right temperature for recreational swimming.

Then there's the staff. I have only met a few so far, but they've all been friendly, helpful and I feel as though they're really proud of the place and want to make me feel at home.

I've looked about the first floor and I'm hoping to try a yoga class in the spacious studio room sometime. You'll see a lot more of me - thanks for the good work.

What do you like about our program and activities?

Everything! So grateful my son gets to go to this program. He loves it! His teachers are wonderful and so caring. Swim lessons, gym time, splash park, time spent outside everyday at the playground. It’s everything you could ever want for your child to experience and it’s so wonderful he can do all of this while at “school”. He’s made so many wonderful friendships and just loves going to school here.

What do you like about our program and activities?

Engaging programs like arts and crafts, organized games and individual play. My kids got their homework done and sometimes got help with it. It's great that the counselors care deeply about the well-being and safety of our kids!
