Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

The facility is beautiful, close and has a variety of classes to explore. I love the pool, which as a new member, is primarily what I have been taking advantage of. Locker room is clean and has a steam room. The cafe serves delicious healthy options for a meal or snack. The staff is extremely friendly and supportive. I feel very lucky to have this affordable and convenient Y nearby.

The new facility in Gloucester is outstanding. It has everything anyone would want to do their workout. I have used the personal trainers and have learned a lot about my workouts. I am loving the new Y and miss it on days I cannot go.

When you were in downtown Gloucester, I didn't join because I could never get a parking space. Now, it is an entirely different story.

Now that my children had my license taken away from me, CATA gets me there.

Everything about it is great, the employees, the members and what it has to offer.

By the way, I recommended it to a neighbor who has rheumatoid arthritis.

The new Y is a wonderful community resource. The staff are helpful and friendly and the pool is really nice. However, the ladies locker room needs a floor replacement with much better drainage. The women who clean work really hard to keep it clean but it is an impossible job.

This facility is amazing!! Probably the best, and most well-equiped, YMCA I've been to. They have activities for all ages and skill levels.

I would likely recommend the Y because it is clean and spacious and the exercise equipment is state of the art.

I also have some constructive feed back for you.

The shower stalls in the men locker room do not have any shelf to put toiletries on. They were once there, and now they are missing except for one in the handicaped shower. The Womens locker room has them.

The staff upstairs in the workout area is kind of surly, and non communicative at all. Most of the time they are staring into their phones.

The music has been the same since the opening. everyday the same songs play over and over each day. Perhaps an investment in Pandora for some variety.

A great community atmosphere. We have found that all the staff is friendly, helpful and caring.
We especially enjoy the kid's programs, pool and lunch there!
Looking forward to getting into an adult exercise program.
It is centrally located with lots of parking.

The new Y is beautiful. The pool area is clean and I love the on-deck showers. Because of the surges of Covid, I want to spend as little time in the locker room as possible. The pool staff, especially Jamie, are the nicest folks.
