The YMCA offers great programs with lots of availability. The facilities are clean and they are Covid safe. The staff is trained well and they’re there to help the members. I enjoy my classes and always start my day knowing I’ll continue to have a great day.

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

It has lots of space and plenty of equipment. It is clean and there’s always 2 people cleaning while I’m there, which is important to me with COVID. The staff is helpful and friendly.

So far I've been super happy!
- Not too crowded
- Seems like a clean pool (although today it was a bit dirty with a number of hair clumps and trash floating at the bottom)
- I appreciate the dividers between cardio machines and weight benches
- Friendly and helpful staff

The new North Shore Y facility in Gloucester is fabulous. For semi-retired Cape Ann residents like myself, it's a great place to work out and run into friends. Especially in the winter!

I love the Cape Ann YMCA! It's the cleanest gym I've been to, the staff (all departments) are so friendly, they have my favorite group exercise classes with my favorite instructors! I recommend the Cape Ann YMCA to all of my friends!

What do you like about our program and activities?

Lots of fun. Outside playing in playground on nice days or outside playing in snow

on snowy days. Being an only child he really looks forward to playing with the

other children. Inclement weather they play inside in gym or arts and crafts. Always

keep them busy.

I would recommend this to a single person on a family with kids older than mine! Great gym and equipment! Although a lot of the activities are too old for my son! And the ones that are for his age seem to have classes that fill up quick or are at inconvenient times! Although I’m sure the outdoor pool is good for the little ones In the summer. I am going to come back when my son is a couple years older!
