The Y is a modern facility with adequate parking, good fitness equipment, good classes, and a friendly environment.
I am a loyal bac member now a y club. I love the beverly or bac community. I live in gloucester but traveled to bac five times a week. I took an aqua spin class. I was impressed with the bikes. Class could be better. I asked about a paddleboard class in the water and she shut it down immediately. I am going to recruit my friends to take the class. I commented that the participants dont talk or sing. The response was we dont woo! Will probably swim in the winter but will try again.

Coach Alejandro was exceptionally wonderful! He was patient , kind and engaging! He’s a wonderful role model for my two boys who looked forward to practice and games every week with him. He is a wonderful addition to the Ymca.! My boys look forward to participating in sports coached by him again in the near future!

The EGYM machines have allowed me to focus on building strength as I age. EGYM along with the exercise bikes which provide cardio support are having a positive impact on me. Once again, Chelsea & Cassie offer support and advise.
The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and well appointed. For those of us that remember the old Y it is such a treat to have a beautiful "new" space.

It’s a great way to unwind and the facility is wonderful. The staff is amazing and the place is always very clean. The ymca is a wonderful place and I love my hometown ymca the best.
It has many programs and classes; it is always clean and well-kept and the staff are friendly and helpful.
My daughter had her first (ever) week of camp last week - and I'm so glad we went with Camp Spindrift. The staff has found the right balance of professionalism and efficiency - paired with fun and silly energy. The location is great; the amenities appear clean and well kept. My daughter ends her day filled with stories to share with me about how much fun she had and the new things she's tried. Just another way that the Gloucester YMCA attributes to our community. Well done!
