Great staff. Good programs classes

My wife & I cannot be happier the overall experience at the Rockport after school program. Jess and the whole staff are excellent! So engaging and fun for our 2nd grader who loves it. This is her third yr in the program, and our 5 year old will be attending the program when she starts kindergarten in the fall.

It's a very nice facility with a lot to offer it's members.

Lots of classes in a brand new facility!

Staff is super friendly. The equipment and facility are maintained and kept clean. The open concept with space and the numerous windows creates a welcoming environment. You never feel crowded even when it’s busy. Lastly, the machines are new and in good working order .

The stretch class I attended last Wednesday was great.

The instructors are great and my kids have really enjoyed learning how to swim.

The staff that has made it such a wonderful experience. As you know it's been such a challenging time! And so we want to extend a huge thank you to the staff that has stayed with the kids & infants throughout!!!!

We are happy for the experience that the kids get with the 'extra cirriculars like swimming and basketball, gymnastics and time outside.

The vacation program at West Parrish was amazing! My child actually did activities and was excited to tell me about her day. I was amazed to open her backpack at the end of the day and see her pulling out projects that she did, huge difference from the last vacation program she did elsewhere.

Best Aquatics Program ever!

The program offers a lot of options for water classes at various points of the day. The class sizes are manageable and give us plenty of space to work out. The facility is clean and well tended to and the staff is very helpful. The instructor for the classes I take, which are 3 different water classes,is Scott and he puts together a great exercise routine which makes it fun and great exercise.

Keep hiring instructors Like Justin, Janelle and Michael.

There are a large variety of services at an affordable price. Hopefully, something for everyone.

My child has learned a great deal with the acquatic program, at his pace. He loves swimming and is looking forward to passing his swimming test. He needs instructors who can find alternative ways to teach him about important techniques and their contexts. I would love to discuss that with the head of the program.

Friendly, supportive staff!!

The staff are so friendly, and there is so much variety of things to do to keep fit. Plus, they will work with you to get you a membership price that works for your income.

Swim is great. Instructors are supportive and knowledgeable.

The best swim program! Lisa is amazing! My 5 year old son was completely petrified to get into the pool so we did a couple of private lessons with her first and she had him in the water at the very first one, which is something both myself and his father could not get him to do. He’s now in one of the group classes and absolutely LOVES it. He’s doing so well in such a short amount of time, we could not be happier with the program! I recommend the swim lessons to everyone. We also started the parent and me classes with my one year old with Stephanie and she is really great too!

It’s clean, friendly, spacious & well-equipped....

I have had a YMCA membership for several years and now, as a fulltime employee my family membership is free. Employment with the Y is becoming a family tradition, all three of my daughters have worked for the Y, and now I am extremely blessed to say that I also work for the YMCA! The Y is not only an asset to its members, its community, and its employees, its also a huge asset to our youth! Becoming a member of the YMCA has always been a true value to our family; from the kids walking down to Middle Street for a free swim session, to the oldest child working on the Clean Team in the summer, the younger two becoming lifeguards at the YMCA, the youngest working out and training for an upcoming softball season, to me now having the opportunity to utilize my business and education background to help the youth in the Gloucester and Rockport Communities!

The privilege of witnessing and even taking part in some of our successful community programs like, The Giving Tree that provides holiday gifts to the underprivileged kids in our community, The Afterschool Tutoring Program that helps and encourages students with their school assignments, The Teen Center that provides a place for our teens to be in community with each other in a clean, safe, and encouraging environment, Summer Camps that provide children with summer days of amazing experiences, life lessons, and memories that will last a life time.

I am beyond thankful to the YMCA, what it has and will continue to do for the benefit of our communities that it serves.
