It was a great experience for my 10 year old!
It’s a chance for my son to get used to competition golf in a way that’s fun and challenging, but still relaxed. The team aspect is nice too, while he’s still getting used to playing golf “against” someone on the course.

It’s all about the coaches. And Marci Brock is the best!!! We want y’all to start a fall league, for us Texans, though. Some of our little ones can’t tolerate that June/July summer heat all the way down here!
Our son First name removed loved his experience with PGA Junior and having Marci Brock from The Hills of Lakeway/ Live Oak be his coach! He has done the league for a few seasons and absolutely loves his time on the team, learning and team building! This is a wonderful program!

Team concept works great for kids. Would be nice if the teams represent golf club can play against each other in the league instead of just within one golf club. Kind of like baseball tournament that each golf club creates different level of 8 to 10 players and sign up to play in the tournament would be more fun and allowed golf to be a team and competitive sport.
My son really liked the instructions and the instructors. Also, the interaction with the other kids.
I loved all the opportunities for actual game play on the golf course. It gave the kids an opportunity to practice what they had learned from the coaches.
It teaches kids how to be respectful with their teammates. It builds confidence and teaches them how to play golf.
Teaching kids the fundamentals of the game and introducing them to what to expect when playing with others as a team and as an individual.
