The practices were at good times and the coaches we excellent.
Opportunity to play often
It was a great program that introduced golf to my son. It wasnt too competitive.
I really like it for my son. This game help him more independently and enjoyed.
It has been a great experience since we joined more than 10 years ago. My son has learned a great deal and loves the game.
The kids got to work together as a team, not as an individual to enjoy the camaraderie and process together. However, I would like to point out some unfairness and inequalities:
1. Boys' and girls' yardage distance differences are too little. Boys only tee off about 10 yards from the girls but they drive a lot farther than the girls which gives them huge opportunities to eagle or birdie than the girls. That is not fair if a team carries more boys than girls. The tee-off distances should be reevaluated.
2. Tournament course for Texas Regional - It has always been the same course Firewheel Golf Park - The Bridges Course so the teams from Dallas have a big advantage as it is local for them and they can go do more practice rounds than other teams. This is another significant inequalities from the league. It should rotate and select different tournament course instead of setting the same course every year.

Positive environment
We like that PGA gets kids on the course playing. The team aspect is also a really great way to keep kids interested.
The instruction and etiquette that is talk to the players and the love of the game
Its really well done. The only thing I would change is too add a third set of tees. Let 8 and under tee up close, 9-10 a little further back and 11+ further still.
Practice time and experience on full golf courses. Professional and high quality golf pros and program.
We had a great experience, and the main reason for that was our coach: Emmett Kulick. He did a great job of coordinating our team and connecting with the kids. If I could rank him 11 out of 10 I would!
I really liked the scramble setup which allowed the kids to feel successful. Coach Neil was very encouraging of the kids and my son was way more into golf after the league
Very organized, the ease of signing up for tournaments, reasonable fees. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Excellent training on skills and sportsmanship
Great 2 kid scramble format.
Great coaching.
Very laid back matches where kids have a lot of fun.
Thanks
Tony
My son finds this to be a fun way to incorporate golf into a team sport. We love the comradery that the team generates together and the fun they have on the course.
Everything!!
Chance kids to learn in a tournament setting
I love the team aspect and the competitiveness. Very good program!
Coach John was fantastic.
My daughter had a lot of fun meeting other golfers in the area and playing with a partner
The opportunity for kids to experience the game in a fun way.
My golf team have limited resources and access to golf courses. I firmly believe that my kids would have not been able to win 3 district golf title without the help amd support of the PGA Jr League.
PGA Jr is a very good starting poknt
I really like the Coach Wendi at Pebble Creek Country Club. She is so involved and enthusiastic.
We really like the PGA Jr. League. Our son loves it and really has learned so much and most importantly loves golf!
The experience it gives my son and helps foster his love of the game.
