It was fun getting to play tournaments and also learning the game!
It gives my son a sense of competition in the sport of golf at a young age. Great experience all the way around!

The coaching and team play.
Beth is really enjoying the training sessions and learning a lot!
Johnny was so enthusiastic and encouraging to the golfers. The courses in the woodlands were good, challenging in the right ways. Lessons focused most importantly on good sportsmanship and integrity. I wish there was a 14+ program! My son aged out
The practices and the tournaments HP golf course
The events were organized, communication to parents was excellent, and kids had a great time and learned alot!
The coaches and the games.
I like that the PGA Jr. league was focused on the kids learning skills of golf. While there was a healthy dose of competition with the weekly matches, it was always about growth and development.
The coaches and team at Blackhawk are incredible. Great attention to detail and truly understanding how best to coach and mentor young golfers. Keep the team engaged and having fun while they learn and grow in the game.
Great opportunity for young kids to learn the game of golf
Excellent experience for my kiddo , he loves this program and past 1 month let him improve a big step :)
It’s great for getting kids into the game. I was really frustrated though that they didn’t do a good job of vetting participants. They let one young girl in that couldn’t hit the ball at all and it was a major detriment to the season and it did her no favors.
Fun introduction to golf.
The regional championship tournament @ Forest Creek in Georgetown TX was wonderful! The event ran so smoothly, and it was excellent tournament experience under our belts. Thank you!
Great community and well-run program to help my kids develop a love for golf.
Lots of game and matches
The coaches were great, playing matches was fun, without too much emphasis on performance. The main goal seemed to be just getting the kids out there to play, and my kids both enjoyed it.
We enjoy the flexibility that our program has. There are many different days and times that can work for everyone. The one thing that is hard is that the tournaments for younger kids fill up so fast, which is a good problem to have but is the one draw back.
Give kids the opportunity to learn and play golf in a stress free, fun environment.
Everything! Awesome program!!
My daughters had so much fun in their first season of PGA Jr. League. They learned so much! Their coach was fantastic. They loved having "real" uniform shirts and visors. The local competitions were well organized and helped parents and children learn the basic rules of golf. 9 holes are a bit long for kids to play, and all the competitors had moments where they needed to a boost to finish. but the tears & frustration ended when the rounds finished and everybody was celebratory of everyone's accomplishments. The girls both competed at the first level of the playoffs with others from our city and region. They were treated so well with conditions that felt really special to tween girls in their first season playing in any kind of tournament. My kids aren't the next PGA pros, but they are well on their way to enjoying a lifetime of quality outdoor exercise with friends. And, they're already looking forward to next season of Jr. League!
The PGA junior league has been a great introduction to golf for my son. We will be having my younger son participate this year as well.
The kids gaining social skills and learning to play as a team while having fun.
My son had the best time! I was very impressed with how organized the events were and you all made it so much fun for the kids!! Thank you!
Great team environment for the kids

Practice and tournement rounds seem to be congested and uncompetitive at times.
Are we utilizing the golf course to its full advantage by putting the slower group on the 1rst hole, follwed by the next 2nd slowest at the second hole, and so on?
Also, pairings looked uncompetitive during the tournement last Friday. Having a better balance between teams could lead to increaed competition and improved pace of play.
Thank you for working to allow for this opportunity for our kids to learn the game of golf.
