Consumer Testimonials
Gets kids engaged with the game, make new friends, intro to competition without the solo pressure.
It was a great way for my son to get into golf. He liked the competition with the other kids but never felt overwhelmed playing pair/match play. I liked that it included weekly lessons and course play.
Great experience for our son. It makes golf fun.
Team play
We play with eclipse golf academy and the best part is the coaching. We have the best coaches and mentors for our junior golfers. They make it fun but educational at the same time. I would encourage anyone starting to find a jr pga program.
Great program, but more importantly amazing coaches and experience working with the Pine Forest CC coaches.
The coaching, the competition, the growth of players, all of the above.
Great competition and chance for the jrs to play with friends.
This year we played matches against other clubs in the area. That part was great. I didn’t like how unorganized the other clubs were or how late we received communications.
A tremendous experience for our youth! The coaches are great at guiding the juniors, and the increase in skill level is evident. All around, a great time developing a game they can play for life.
Chance for low pressure competition.
We like the opportunity for our child to interact with other children with a similar love of golf. It is also good experience without too much pressure and provides the opportunity to play on a few different courses around town.
It provides our kids with such a positive experience being able to compete with other kids in a fun environment.
I like the practice time but what we get out of the experience really depends on which coach we are assigned. When we get a good coach with our group, we have a great time and a lot of learning.
Love the group setting and social aspect. The coaches try to make things fun and keep the kids engaged.
hat I really like about Jr PGA is that it encourages young golfers to work together as a team to win games. It shifts the focus away from individual play and fosters a true sense of teamwork among the kids. The coaching is thoughtfully designed to support all players, regardless of skill level, helping everyone improve and feel included. Plus, it’s a great way for kids to make new friends while developing their golf skills in a positive, supportive environment.
I like the idea of having the hiss work together as a team in their tournaments.
Our daughter loves the competition
Team concept. Kids working together on strategy with no parent involvement accelerates their growth and understanding.
It's good for junior golfers to enjoy some team aspects of the sport.
The coaches inspire the kids to not just be better golfers, but better people
Great format for all levels of junior golfers. good way to get kids started into playing competitively.
We really like the league and the kids are enjoying every event.
Supportive Team Members who remember your name and especially your child's name. The Coaches and Marshalls along with parents really become like family so makes playing in tournaments - FUN!
The opportunity to play with friends who play at a similar level and compete in a televised national championship.
Great experience with our Coach, Lonny Alexander. He provides a fun environment, great coaching and sets up the tournements with an eye towards fun and competition.
Team oriented golf gives kids the the chance to work with and cheer on teammates.
I would like the league to be more organized and focused on game. It is so distractive and depends on the luck not performance.
The instructor is very helpful with the students and privileged them with support.

The 2 man scramble format is pretty cool. It's a great entry into competitive golf.
