Coach and atmosphere
Kids getting out to play golf in a competitive environment. Good format
Gets kids involved in team golf as opposed to individual stroke play
We love it so far! Coach Ryan is great with our boys. I'm so happy that they are learning a lifelong sport. I hope they will be able to be good enough to compete someday.
It was great experience for my young golfer. The coaches were awesome. The facilities were nice. Would definitely recommend.
All of it
Opportunities for kids ro learn and grow.
Overall fun! Very hot in the afternoons. Need more players so you might want to reduce the price. Justin from Hearthstone did a great job! Post the schedule earlier on the PGA Jr website so communication is easy for the matches and practices. Thanks and see y’all next summer!!

Personal attention from instructors and organized group tournaments.
The PGA Jr League is a terrific step beyond First Tee for youngsters to get a full flavor for the game, and experience competition on some very fine course. Lonny Alexander at the Onion Creek Course in Austin has been a wonderful and engaging coach for the kids. It's been a all-around wonderful experience for our granddaughter.
Kids get to know other kids. They meet kids that one day will be in golf and perhaps have become friends. They learn play as a team.
The PGA Junior league was an amazing experience for my 8 year old son! He had a great time with the coaches and players and it was a good entry into golf!
How the kids made new golfing friends and learned how to play as a team
The lessons that are being taught.
I can’t say enough good things about this program! My son has participated in multiple other tournaments and this one is by far his favorite! Coaches Shelby & Garrett are fantastic!!! They know how to encourage players, but also offer some positive criticism. These Coaches want the players to love the game of golf while also working on vital fundamentals. It’s a great atmosphere and our son will always remember the memories and growth that happened during his PGA Jr. league days.
Great intro to golf and friendship for young golfers. Great coaches that guide the golfers to be better golfers.
The practice is good, the playtime is good.
Just need to add more courses to play and to have the juniors experience what is like to get ready for tournaments.
What I like about the PGA Jr League is that the kids get to practice and play in a very fun environment, it helps them play tournament and take a lot of the pressure off since it's a shared result and helps them practice that skill for when they play alone.
great experience - looking forward to next year
It was so much fun playing in a group . Kids enjoyed it, so did parents . The team spirit is inspirational, and it brings the best out of each player.
Traveling and meeting new people
(1) participants are encouraged to work together-- problem solving, collaboration, conflict resolution, accountability, etc.
(2) parents are encouraged to minimize any influence to their child during a round. This is huge because it allows for point number 1 to happen.
(3) makes golf more of a team sport which helps put it on a level similar to other team sports.
(4) scramble format takes pressure off the child and helps improve their enjoyment.
Social aspects and match play tournaments .
It was the program that made my son excited to play golf.
We love it. Great organization!
Great for kids
The level of play was great! I enjoyed them playing against other players from other areas
It’s a way for kids to not only learn how to play golf but the life lessons they learn as well.
I enjoy watching my son play competitive golf, without the pressure of other sports he is involved in, considering his age
