Coach Steve Rupert at south shore Harbour is very organized. The teens they assigned to work with the kids were great. Liked the added exposure it gave my son to playing golf with and against other kids. He normally just takes privates so the PGA experience expanded his horizons as a player and socially. Great program. Will definitely do again. Also I felt the uniforms were of high quality. Only suggestion is the hats were a little too small but maybe my son just has an abnormally large head for an 8 year old lol or maybe we were given wrong size. Obviously if it bothered me I would’ve looked into to more. Minor detail. Excellent program - I think largely due to our coach. We had some weather issues this yr but coach handled them well. I mean, it’s summer in TX so we’re gonna get rain lol nothing you can do. I also like the tone our coach sets. It’s fun but also he sets expectations and standards for the kids’ behavior. Can’t wait to come back!
Gets the kids involved early in golf allows them to understand the game which helps make them actually enjoy it.
