Our kids LOVE the team aspect of PGAJL. 99% of the time junior golf is all about the individual and stroke play, but being part of a team and competing with/against your friends in that team environment is something special.

The Fair Oaks Team did a great job with the Summer PGA Jr. League. I like the team competition, organization and tournament concept. The one thing I would like to see different is a little more attention to grip-stance-swing at the beginner and intermediate level.
The community it builds to help our golfers learn the most they can and be a part of a team.

The best part of this program is and was the coaches. Each coach provided so much knowledge to our kids and made the experience even better. Highly enjoyed this program for my son, Nathaniel.

My son loved that it was a scramble, which lessens the pressure on him as a beginning golfer to perform on every swing and every hole.
My daughter enjoy getting to know new kids that have the same hobby as her. The coaches are great and always will to help and answer questions.
PGA Jr. League gives our junior golfer the opportunity to experience golf in a true team environment. While golf is usually an individual sport, this format allows players to work together, encourage one another, and share in both the challenges and the successes on the course. It’s been wonderful to watch my daughter build friendships and develop communication skills, all while enjoying the excitement of playing golf. PGA Jr. League has made the game even more fun and engaging for her.
We had a great time at high meadow ranch. Not as much instruction time as we were expecting but overall a good experience. We had many days cancelled due to rain with no make up days for those unfortunately. That was disappointing. Essentially every “practice” day ended up being a make up day for a scramble that was missed. Also the jerseys were either not ordered or didn’t make it to us and we were told we signed up late, which we did not. There were many kids without jerseys and the jerseys that were there didn’t arrive until 2 weeks before the end of the season. Also, not having anything run again in our area for fall after joining isn’t ideal either.
I have to say though that Colton was an amazing coach for my son! He was always so happy and enthusiastic!
