Incredible coach, kids, and courses
Coach was amazing. Puts fun in the game
We loved to be able to experience member only courses and the coaching was incredible! Grateful for the opportunity.
I more than like the PGA Jr. League.
I Love many aspects of it.
I Love that the kids are able to compete among their peers on not only skill, yet etiquette.
Through the practices, games and participation the players grow as individuals and as team players.
I love how they can play with different teams players for it allows them to see the many styles each and everyone of them have.
As well as being paired with different coaches who are always pouring on to the students their expertise, angles, styles, constant pointing to what they are doing well and where they can potentially achieve uniquely from their own building style.
Thank You for the Love and Support you show for all of our kids.
Our coach Micheal Blinco is amazing! He’s so patient and kind while also giving instruction for improvement. The program being Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon provides opportunities for families to engage and spend quality time together outside without screens! My son has been doing Jr. PGA since he was 7 and chooses it over every other activity.
This is a great organization that gets kids outside playing golf and enjoying the sport.
The encouragement from the coaches !!!
The entire experience was fun and my child learned a lot and enjoyed doing it!
It becomes a team sport and the pressure of off the kids a bit. It helps them continue to love the sport when they are not playing well.
Leadership, Friendship and Fun
Kids love it
Great coaching staff, relaxed atmosphere, encouraging the love of the game.
Love the environment - it made an individual sport into an engaging team opportunity which is key for our social 9 year old
The club staff was great with the kids. My son had a great time.
Sue and her team at Lone Tree are the absolute best! Their interest, dedication and program for the children is outstanding! We are so happy that we started with this program when our child was younger and have witnessed the growth and development over the years. FIVE STARS!
The competition between other PJAJr leagues in our area
Great way to get kids out playing. However, this year the course was very crowded, we had to play three somes a couple times. Perhaps we could split the teams by age groups or have an additional night for tournaments so they move along faster, Thanks, overall it’s a great experience!
Teaches the kids to be independent thinkers and have self control. So good for them to be outside soaking up the sun and getting exercise walk out on the course.
Team play and coaching
The coaching and information around how to manage yourself and your playing partners around the golf course. I feel these fundamentals to make golf a life long journey are approached from a great angle and made a primary focus of the program.
The league provides great opportunities for young players to learn and improve their game while playing on nice courses.
I loved the opportunity my son had to be exposed to a new sport, which he has since adopted as his own. We're not getting private lessons for him because he loved it so much.
I appreciated the quality of all we received for the money - the jerseys, bag, hat, etc. It felt like a professionally run program (which it was!).
The one thing I didn't love, or wished was better, in our local program was the instruction during practice. I felt like the coaches just kind of told the kids "we're driving" and let them at it. There wasn't nearly as much instruction on how to hold the club, swing, and make improvements as I would have hoped for.
my girls love the tournaments
PGA Jr League is very important for youngsters learning golf. I like that the League help the students learn more information on golf and encourage them to dream big to do their best.
I cannot put into words just how special this program has been for my son, and has really accelerated his love for the game of golf. This was our first year in the program. I was amazed at what this program offered young people - from the phenomenal golf courses, excellent coaches/staff, and just the opportunity for them to learn about the game is incredible. We look forward to continue participating in this league and I will absolutely recommend this to any others. Great job and amazing league!!
Great way to get the kids involved at an early age
The whole program is just wonderful for kids to learn how to play and improve their skills. The courses they get to play and our Coach/Instructor Mike Greer has been awesome. The price is also quite reasonable. If you're on fence go for it and don’t think twice.
Love the team aspect to an individual sport for juniors
The environment, team building, friendly
Great learning opportunities for young golfers!
