I like the coaches that work so hard to not only teach the sport of golf, but also teach life skills, and encourage the players. A few exceptional coaches are with the Prince George’s County League- Elvie Soeprapto, Jasmine McDuffie, and the coaches for the UMD league!

The kids learned a lot about golf ediquette and teamsmanship. They really enjoyed playing at golf courses other than their home course. It was also nice having pros from other courses walking the course with them.

PGA Jr. League gives our junior golfer the opportunity to experience golf in a true team environment. While golf is usually an individual sport, this format allows players to work together, encourage one another, and share in both the challenges and the successes on the course. It’s been wonderful to watch my daughter build friendships and develop communication skills, all while enjoying the excitement of playing golf. PGA Jr. League has made the game even more fun and engaging for her.
Our coach, Wes Buntenbach, continues to be great with the kids and very organized. Bravo to another year in the books.
