Getting kids into golf

The Jr. PGA League has been such a wonderful experience for my son. He loved having the opportunity to play new courses, meet new friends, and enjoy the game he loves in a fun, supportive environment. The league does a fantastic job of making golf exciting for kids while also teaching them teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence on the course. We’re so grateful for the coaches and organizers who make it such a positive experience—highly recommend to any family looking to get their child more involved in golf!
Our son absolutely loved playing golf this past summer. It was our first time ever playing and it was something he didn’t stop talking about. Coach Joe and Coach Garin were amazing with the kids and we hope they’ll have a Fall season at Timberline starting.

It was a really great experience. I would say that the tees should be spread out more for all star events to level the playing field between the 10/11 boys and the 12/13 boys. Often on Par 4s there was negligible difference between the tees, but a considerable difference in driving distance between the older and younger players.
