It introduces our child to the fundamentals of golf and provides him with a chance to play a few holes.
My son enjoyed the league and it was affordable
My son is 5 and enjoyed jr. league. I hope as he gets older and wants to continue golf he will get more out of it. With young ones it's hard to utilize all aspects of what PGA jr league has to offer. Also where we live makes it harder. This was our first year so learning.
The learning, meeting of new people and the staff
Connecting with other golfers. Getting to play different courses.
We had a positive experience, and my daughter enjoyed having the opportunity to improve her skills and play others her age.
Playing golf as a team instead of individual.
Fun, teammate, coaches
Giving the kids the opportunity to play with other kids their age, camaraderie, play competitive in their age group and prepare them to play in high school and college.
I really like the coaching and mentorship that Jr League has offered our player. Coach John D and staff create a welcoming and supportive community to these young players that will hopefully create a lifelong love for the game
The coaches, and the ability to go around to different places to play other Jrs.!
Kids can play with their teammates for fun!
Great golf program for juniors
Great way to get kids into golf and thinking about it competitively.
Great way to introduce the game to kids.
Excellent program, great opportunities for playing and practice.
The experience for my son. Not only did it grow his skills and love for the sport, but he was able to find friends with the same interest.
Great experience!
It was a great way for my daughter to learn about and feel more comfortable playing a round of golf. She loved everything about it!
I like the team aspect of it and gives young golfers the opportunity to work together and get a break from the constant pressure of playing their own ball all the time.
Highly recommend. I think that the championship at Penn state took longer than anyone wanted but generally the pace of play is great, the comradere is great and there is so much great learning. We saw huge improvement for our son. It's a sweet spot between kids who are competing solo in tournaments regularly and kids who are just starting out. Love it.
The coaches are wonderful and they make sure the kids have fun and enjoy golf.
Last year I had my 2 older kiddos signed up, they were 13 and 11. At the end of the year the coaches mentioned i should also sign up my 3rd daughter who would just be turn 8 at the beginning of the league. They were just lovely to all 3 of my kiddos. They met each of my kiddos where they were and all 3 improved their game greatly.
Highlander pros are so fantastic and I am so grateful that they made all 3 of my daughters really love the game, improve their game and made them feel more than welcome in a male dominated sport.
First name removed loved the program so did our family. Can’t wait for other son to be able to play as well!
The format and match play style competition.
How the kids get into playing the game of golf. I wish this program was around when I was a kid.
All 3 coaches had great relationships with the kids and always maintained a positive attitude.
My son had a great experience. Our instructor Jackie was great. We appreciated that the course was conveniently located near our home as well.
My child really enjoyed playing on the course and learning how to try to hit different shots. Also, she loved the team as aspect and making new friends. This is a very positive experience for youth, who are interested in the game of golf.
The best part of the PGA jr league was my son’s ability to be on a team of other golf loving kids who push themselves to improve. They were challenged on the skills for sure. But even more so on how to conduct themselves professionally, with respect for the game and eachother. They learned what it means to represent their club and have pride. Their endurance improved both physically and emotionally.

It's expensive but he loved being part of a team and getting to play at Sawgrass!
