I didn't grow up golfing, but I've come to realize how special the sport of golf is. In a fast-paced world where kids are constantly craving instant gratification, golf is teaching my son to slow down and appreciate the work it takes to achieve a goal. Thank you for this opportunity!
Our club (Bellevue CC in Melrose, MA) handled the program wonderfully this year. Our Assistant Pro (Colby Todd) was great at communication (with the kids and parents alike) and coordination.

We loved everything but we would like to see better quality food throughout the season not just on the first night.
I love that PGA Jr. League provided a welcoming platform for my junior golfer to start with zero experience, develop a genuine interest in the game, and grow into competitive golf. It has made golf fun, encouraging, and accessible while building confidence, skills, friendships, and a lasting love for the sport.
It was so fun! It is an excellent league to introduce match play at a developmentally appropriate level.

We love being able to play with friends that are different skill levels and we love the chance to play in the all-star tournament. Our coaches make it fun and try to switch things up so you are always playing with different people.

Coach Frank Blazewick at the Connoquenessing Country Club, was a great coach and mentor for the kids this past summer for Junior League. We hope to do it again next summer.

We live in PGH and drive to the CCC due to family in the area.
During the year, it would be great to hook up with older boys (my son is 7/about to be 8), so that he could practice and be mentored by some of the older kids in the jr league. It might be as simple as having an email or connector on the junior league website for the area that you are in, and folks can say they are interested in this sort of thing? Or way to connect so that over the winter, people could meet up at a driving range etc?

My daughter learned how to actually play golf in a fun and team building environment. It was encouraging and positive. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the jr league program. She said it was the best summer of her life!
Fun environment to learn the game of golf.
I thought the format was great. The coaches were absolutely amazing! The one thing I would like to see fixed for next year is the teams being organized better. Having to play 3v2 and have 3 kids have to alternate sitting out was not ideal. Other than that we loved the league!
It was a wonderful program with amazing coaches and such a positive learning experience for my son! He cannot wait for winter session!
