Consumer Testimonials
The team mentality that is presented to the young players. Letting the kids be kids while still competing.
Great communication of opportunities that are locally available.
The format makes golf fun the kids.
i like that this is an opportunity for children to be on the golf course (without their parents). Learn the game from their peers in a stress free environment. While there is some competition, it's clear to the kids that the goal is not a win or loss.
Love this program!!!
Bringing a team element to youth golf has been a great experience for my son. He is very hard on himself when playing solo and it has been so fun for him to engage more with other kids. Coach Dave is an excellent coach and pays attention to their strengths and weaknesses. We couldn’t ask for a better coach!
Great coaching and tournament experience
Our couching staff
it keeps the kids engaged and active in a positive enviroment while improving their game
Great Coaches. Great way to break into golf tournaments for your beginning golfers. My son played in the league from 7 years old to 10. He loved it and was able to develop well into the sport of Golf through this program (along with the PGA JR. Camps) 2 great programs.
Great opportunity for young players to learn about live play. Builds sportsmanship and team skills. Our kids will do this every summer!
I appreciated the way the coaches instilled the rules of golf as well the etiquette. The social skills my boys learned from Rory made me proud.
Our coach was the best. My kiddo is such a fan. We had a great experience and will absolutely be doing this next year. I just wish the season was longer
The coaches are supportive and fun. However, the coaches on the other teams are not following the rules set by the league. This causes confusion for the young players that are learning the sport the right way from our coaches. Parents from opposing teams criticize and get involved when they are supposed to be spectators. This needs to be addressed by the league. Additionally, the league needs to be united with the coaches and trained properly.
Great experience. My son loves it. Has learned a ton. Well organized.
Schedule is consistent, low stress and meets kids at their level and provides support to help their skills. Supportive and constructive instruction
Practices and matches both well organized with lots of playing time.
Loved it! It is such a great league and my son loves it!
The exposure it gives our kids to golf.
It was a great program for our 13-year-old son. I wish we would have found out about it sooner. Set up well and a lot of fun and learning for all.
It gives the children an opportunity to enjoy the game of golf with like-minded individuals. They have an opportunity from their teaching pros and have a great chance to visit other fine courses in the area. This year, they had the opportunity to see 4 courses, and 2 of them were new or at least they were for First name removed.
Competitive but still fun format
Great way to get young kids involved in golf.
The guys at Spook Rock were very nice and positive with my son. The competition was great and he was able to play multiple courses.
How laid back it is. All the parents seem to get along and root for both sides. We realize they are just learning. A lot of sports our family has participated in, the parents think their kids are going to play for a pro team.
Great program and coaches
The main coach was great. We are very lucky to have PGA at the Mohawk club in Niskayuna. My only dissatisfaction was that other clubs could use golf carts, but our parents could not use them with our kids at the Mohawk club. Our coach helped my kid advance this year. I will do it again!
Love the education, student development and etiquette. Great volunteers and leaders represent this organization.

Knowledgeable coaches, great opportunities to get out on a variety of courses, positive and supportive environment!
