Opportunity for the kids to get to play courses and against other teams. They learn team work and golf lessons.
I would look into some things some teams do. There are teams who only gather players for all star events, and the kids don’t actually play during the season. I would like to see some sort of accountability so that teams can not roster kids just for the all star events for a better chance at winning. Anyone who plays in an all star event should HAVE to actually play matches for a team. Certain PGA Jr groups find work around for rules, and seem to always have things in their favor rather then just allowing the kids to play and decide what will happen.
Professionalism of instructors. Organization of lessons from parent orientation to how quickly children were divided in groups and out on the green each week. Awards dinner for children and families was a lovely end to the 6 week session.
The coaches, the laid back atmosphere and the fact that our son loves it!

It helps the kids to understand the value of punctuality, appropriate manners, rules of competition, and teaches them how to interact with peers to achieve goals in a team fashion. This is a wonderful opportunity That never had a chance to be a part of!
Great environment for developing golfer. Decent pricing for people without normal access to golf. We aren’t club members and try to find whatever opportunities we can that work with the budget.

It has been so fun watching our son’s confidence grow while making new friends and spending time on the course. He loved the team atmosphere, the competition, and most of all, getting to play the game he’s quickly falling in love with. We couldn’t be happier with his experience!
We like inclusivity for young golfers at Lexington country club. not all golf clubs offer non members to play in PGA Jr League which needs to be changed. We live 10 minutes from Augusta country club but they do not let us register so we have to drive an hour to Lexington country club.
Great entry experience into golf. More practice instruction time, even if there had to be fewer matches, would be good, especially for younger golfers.
I enjoy how the environment is laid back and comfortable for the kids. I like how they use games to teach them skills.
The structure of the league. My son was able to work on the mechanics and then the next day they put them to the test on the course. The instructors were with them every step of the way encouraging them and explaining what went well and why a shot might not have gone well.

The junior league allowed my son the opportunity to play on the course in a low-pressure environment. He was provided with helpful weekly practices that included one to one feedback to improve his swing. Overall, it was a really positive experience!
