Disaster turned rescue! Shoveling out after the first big storm of the season, I realized that my propane tank gauge was hovering on empty, but I was supposed to be on automatic delivery. Turns out somehow I had been removed from auto delivery and designated a "will call" customer. With a 1/4 mile long NH driveway straight up a mountain COVERED in ice and temperatures projected to plummet for several days, I was desperate. Called in and, although waited 35 agonizing minutes on hold for a CS rep, I was ultimately connected to "Susan". When she heard my predicament and the desperation in my voice, she immediately began to coordinate a rescue plan. She called dispatch to find a driver who could attempt a delivery while I worked by text to schedule my plow service to come lay down a heavy coat of sand. Sanding would happen around noon and we agreed to have the driver attempt delivery any time after 1pm. At 3pm, Susan called me back to say the driver was on his way. I met the driver on the town road and we discussed the driveway conditions. This hero driver had faith in his skills and the preparation of his vehicle and he skillfully charged the driveway, maintaining momentum and control until he was at the house site. THANK YOU to Susan, dispatch and the excellent driver! I am a Rymes customer for life! Thank you, thank you.
