When I have a problem with my bike or need something updated, I just walk in with my bike and they are always willing to look it over, take the time to answer my questions, and do what they can to help. They give you their honest opinion, such as letting me know when I can easily install/fix something myself verses paying them for the labor. They are great to work with. I highly recommend them!
Love Freewheel generally. Woodbury isn’t near us, but they were the only store that had a product we wanted. Then they were amazing in then repairing my husband’s bike — love how upfront they were about what was actually needed to have done on it, and what wasn’t really worth it. Appreciate the honesty, lack of pressure, and skill at Freewheel.

Very good line of products and great customer service. The salesperson did a nice job of taking my order in person and locating the bike light at another Freewheel store. It arrived at the Woodbury store much sooner than expected. I am a happy customer.

The online chat person was willing to help me find which stores had the bikes I was interested in. Staff at the store were willing to set up several bikes for me to try. Staff transferred the bike I was interested in to a closer store. Great service!

Was replacing tires on my first road bike with carbon frame and wheels, and there were new variables to consider -- like whether running tubeless was desirable, even possible except in a narrow width that offset the advantages. Also the advantages/difficulties of different hardshell options.
You guys gave clear, sensible advice and had the products I needed in stock, enabling me to get set for an important weekend ride.

Expertise, honesty, and friendliness of staff. Turnaround was minimal to me, and they seemed apologetic about it. I called before bringing over multiple bikes; had a really helpful conversation. We dealt on a first-name basis over 3 bikes in less than a week’s time. One of which could not be saved; Troy told me upfront rather than pull me through a rigorous and unsuccessful repair process. While in the shop, I watched other customers get served with the same kind of courtesy. I’ve already recommended to friends and will continue to do so.
