I just want to say that I think all the people working at the shop on Saturday were superb. So decent, polite, genuine, sorry didn’t get the mechanics name but without fuss sorted out my small problem and got me on my way. I used to live near Milton Keynes and Phil Corley cycles had the same ‘normal’ attitude. Not at all snobby, just cycling people. Great work guys.
I was in the market for a new road bike and had a bike fit to determine the correct frame size. I felt Jack listened to my requirements and understood the type of riding I do, leading to the recommendation of a the Pearson Summon The Blood. Once ordered I was kept informed of progress of frame and custom component delivery. I never felt under any pressure to buy and received helpful advice all the way through the process, including the hand-over of the finished bike.

Very impressed with the pre sale advice, updates and later handover of the bike from Jack. There was no pressure to go for an upgrade in spec, in fact the opposite. As for the bike itself ‘Off Grid’, I love it, I can see why the growth in this market having always been a roadie. Looking forward to using it for the LEJOG in May.

Service yesterday from Szem was outstanding. He is exemplary and a credit to any business. Came in with what I thought was one issue and with his patience and skill it was more complicated . I think the one thing that sets any bike shop apart is there attention to detail and service with their customer and customisation to their needs and their safety on the bike when they leave .

Friendly, local, family run business. The Pearson products are sublime. The bikes (I own the Off-Grid gravel and Hammer and Tongs road) are fun to ride, reliable, good looking, and they really perform. The clothing line is comfortable, functional and understated. The service is impeccable, from the shop staff, the mechanic and the bike fitting, to the owners. I couldn’t rate this company higher.

I’ve just purchased my hammerandtongs bike from Pearson. I have to say from the consultation to the purchase yesterday Will and his Team have been amazing. They explained everything about the bike and were good enough to install all my lights, saddle bag and garmin etc before leaving. The bike is an absolute dream and so refreshing to see a family run company offering such an incredible service.
