You really need to get to know Pearsons like a family because it's the relationship with them that puts them so far above the rest. It's like having your dad look out for you.
On Tuesday I got a puncture on the "Off-Grid" I bought 9 months ago, which prompted me to contact Nas and also mention a niggling saddle. He booked me in that evening after the shop closed.
What service! I can't really call it service, more education, assessment and get out of jail free card. He taught me how to fix a puncture and fixed it at the same time. He then took my bike and have me a new full bike fit on it. He put on a new longer stem. Replaced the saddle and adjusted the position. On leaving, over an hour later, I took a spare inner tube and braced myself to arrange a new mortgage to pay for all this.
"£12.00" Nas politely said, and qualified almost embarrassingly "for the two inner tubes".
Now that's a service only my Dad would have given me.
Courteous, helpful, went out of their way to help get me back on the road - took the stress out of dealing with technical failures when far from home!
