The girl who eventually helped me was great! Fortunately she rescued me from the guy who seemed to know nothing about bike tires. I was getting frustrated with him and the fact that he was trying to pretend he knew more than me. I was about to leave, when I got rescued! Thank goodness.
Products I want are generally in stock. Good knowledgeable people. Great service dept.

I've done business with Chain Reaction - Redwood City for nearly 30 years now. I find the team knowledgeable, friendly, and very easy to talk to. They never make me feel embarrassed by my questions and don't try to "impress me" by talking technical details; they explain answers to my questions and are patient with me when I don't "get it".
Service is timely, appropriately priced and excellent. I've never had a problem with any repairs.
They've helped me improve my own bike maintenance skills, and are always willing to help either over the phone or when I'm in the shop, when I get stuck. They've offered practical solutions.
When I buy bikes (I've purchased 9 bikes from this shop over the years), they are helpful in making appropriate selections and don't try to "up-sale" me.
More knowledge about family bikes + cargo bikes would be ideal!

Kevin was an excellent support person. He and another member of the team assisted my husband and I in choosing the right bike for me. He also helped us choose the right accessories for the bike. Everyone was supportive and patient. The overall experience at Chain Reaction was excellent. I will be back to shop and utilize your services.
I was slightly disappointed upon coming home to find out that the bike was fairly dusty. One screw associated with the lighting system did fall off on my first ride. Other than that, the bike is great.
