The saline pool
This was my first time coming to this y and how spacious it was.
The staff is GREAT! I use the weight/fitness room to keep in shape 4 days a week > usually about an hour & 15 min. or so. Depends on availability of equipment. THEN we SOCIALIZE in the Lobby for 45 min to an hour or so! This socialization provides laughs, support when needed and a feeling of belonging!
I swim laps. The Y has lots of available times, as well as the outside in summer. I appreciate the flexibility.

The people and the programs
The variety of activities the camaraderie of the members the Y it's a great place to be. I have loved the Y since I was a kid I raised my kids at the Y
The atmosphere at the M E Lyons YMCA is very welcoming and I feel very at home there. I attend many of thevexcervise classes there each week. I’ve made quite a few friends there that have resulted in doing things together outside of class. The YMCA is my chosen community. I am retired and spend around 2 hours a day at the Y. I’d say outside of time with my family I spend quite a lot of my time, when I’m not at home, at the Y.

I love that the amenities and equipment meets a wide range of fitness needs and goals.
Unfortunately we haven’t been able to participate in any activities or events, we do use the weight room and gym often and enjoy the quality and cleanliness
I mostly do things on my own - my yoga practice and the elliptical. I do take the Tues a.m. Pilates class with Charlotte. I prefer practicing on my own in one of the cool, quiet, studios with mirrors to ensure alignment in the postures when I do my yoga.
