I only do the water walking program but it is a godsend for me because I cannot do any other exercise. I am so glad you have this class and wish it was more accessible because it fills up so fast and the schedule app is not working now so its very hard to get in.

I am not yet participating in any programs, I am disabled and am currently going very slow to recover movement. I hope to do some restorative yoga in time.

I love the variety of activities--from swimming to circuit training and cardio, to yoga (which I'd like to try).
The Y has all the exercise equipment to tone muscle, arteries, in particular cardiovascular, as well as group to inspire.
Availability of exercise room and outside pool in the summer. Also, it is close to where we live

I like the variety of activities that are offered. It's also a joy to enter the Y and be greeted by friendly staff members I'm older now, so it's nice to see people in my age group working out.
The instructors and participants demonstrate a very welcoming, down to earth, compassionate attitude towards members. I feel that the YMCA really wants what’s best for me. But I do not feel stressed out or self-conscious about the condition I am currently in. I feel a sense of acceptance when I am at the YMCA.
