Member Testimonials
Most of the year older people can go at 8am to swim. Summer not so much. Swim teams should use earlier before 8am or afternoon times as the take up most of the lanes. And should not get priority over the regular members
Cost, convenience, and variety of activities are excellent.
I’m new so too early to answer
I’m very happy with the pools and the sauna
The Blue Ash YMCA offers a wide variety of activities for people of all ages. The instructors are great—especially Jan A. I participate in her TRX class and Fit for Life. She creates her classes toward improving our health and has a good sense of humor making the class fun. YMCA members are friendly and helpful for one another. Providing coffee in the morning and seating in the foyer promotes socialization. The people near the check-in station are welcoming. I participate in e-gym which I think is a great for strengthening. I’m so glad I live only 10 minutes away from the Blue Ash YMCA so I have no excuse for not participating.
I do the Seniors activities and I can do them without having a problem with them
Everything Especially Getting My Exercise And Workout On Plus I Like Going Swimming When It's 80 And 90 Degree Weather (Indoor Pool Only) And Fitness Classes Too.
Chance to meet other people interested in exercise.
Members numbers require more spaces for Silver Sneeckes classes .
The gym size needs to be adecuated for the number of people that use it.
There is always a waiting period to elíptical machines .
The Powel Crosley needs to be remodeled for the real members numbers it has.
Sauna could be enlarged or have two different ones .
Zumba is awesome - great mix of fun, energy, cardio and dance!
Greetings upon arrival to facility
weight room is great, too
I really like the instructors, my favorites are Amanda, Trish, Alley and Jamie, they have it all together. I really like that I can help to make a difference. Bridget is amazing and she makes things happen.
Instructors are great, classes keep me on track
Awesome teachers and best director ever
Broad variety
I like the variety, however, I cannot get into the classes I want because they are always full—especially Body pump and Silver Sneakers ( the reason I joined).
Variety
I like that during family swim there are 2 lifeguards so the last ten minutes of the hour are available to us.
Plenty of programs to choose from and good facilities for aerobics and weights.
I like the instructors and the times the classes are offered.
I love the child care. It allows me to consistently work out
The fitness center and the sauna are my favorites.
The instructors today were very good and complimenting
I only use the gym. Good equipment for what I need.
The feeling of community and belonging …the staff are great and each class I participate have friendly teachers and fellow members. The Pickleball family is great.
Welcoming and a good variety
I like the indoor lap pool. I like that it's warmer than the bubble pool. I wish it was open more hours than two per day and I wish it was open on the weekends.
I enjoy the group classes.
Pickleball times
I love the water classes. I am able to work at my own pace. I can be weightless, work hard and not injure myself. My water instructor Cathy Haman does everything she can to keep the class interesting. Her music is always fun to listen to and sing along with.
On Fridays there is a shallow water and a deep water volleyball game.
I also belong to the synchronized swim team, Synchro Sisters and it is just the best. As a team sport the camaraderie is wonderful. Any synchronized effort depends on counting to work so I am engaging my mind while I exercise my body. This is truly a mind body soul experience.
Love using the lap lanes in the outdoor pool

I like the shallow water exercise class. Just wish there were more.
