There are so many things to like about the Y. The staff and front desk staff are very friendly and quite helpful. The Y updates the gym equipment and makes sure the equipment....cardio machines are functioning. If not functioning correctly, staff does an excellent job of remedying the issue. The pool is clean for the most part (even though it is a bit cool.) the showers and sauna are great. Sheree, Linda, Aaron, Ms. Angie, Dara are really wonderful.
Family oriented, diverse and friendly atmosphere. Variety of classes to choose from for individual preferences. Instructors are attentive to individual needs and are challenging.

I love that although I am disabled and on a fixed income, the Y made it possibly for me and my family to enjoy all the same benefits as families that pay full price. I love the Y and their open doors program.

I enjoy the group classes. I love Zumba the most. I attend Zumba on Mondays with Dinishea which is awesome. Tuesdays with Bada which is excellent. On Wednesdays I do Step and Strong with Amaadi which hurts the next day in good way. I do Pilates with Carlen on Thursday stretching and breathing are essential. It's the little muscle that get worked out so the big muscle work better. I truly enjoy Pilates. Also, on Thursdays I do Cardio Dance with Carolyn who has a great personality and is a wonderful instructor.l I like Barre on Saturdays as well. It's amazing how a good work makes you feel good and look great.
I absolutely LOVE the Towson location but no matter how much you remodel 33rd st, you still have those same people at the desk when you walk in that are not very professional white often. It's boy all of them and the guys actually conduct themselves better to the public then the ladies/women surprisingly. 33rd needs customer service training and needs to learn how to "represent" the YMCA and "Harry and Jeanette Weinberg " and not themselves. Be more than a product of your environment
