the facility is beautiful, and the Y provides a wide array of classes. In addition, I like the larger, public spirited mission of the Y (adult swim classes, turkey trot, food drives, etc.).
The Y is our happy place. My son’s 14 now, he’s grown up at the Y. Went to preschool & is now a little of big brothers & big sisters. I hope he remembers the value that the Y has been throughout his life & one day becomes a Big brother for a Little in the future. I almost always run into a neighbor I wasn’t expecting to see & it’s such a pleasant surprise. Love it here!!

I have really been enjoying yoga in the Waverly room it is very peaceful
I like the gentle yoga classes at Waverly and Parkville. The teachers move at my speed and understand if we have problems with our hip and back.

I like the yoga classes at Waverly and Parkville. It helps my blood pressure and joints. When the class ends I have a peace of mind when I have to face the outdoors.
I enjoy the pool and sauna. Also the weight machines and stationary bikes.
We love the pool, Parent’s Night Out, and the various locker rooms.
The pool is warm (I think Merritt is like 78 vs the Y’s 80). There are many offerings. The lady who signed me up is very friendly and nice.

I live in Waverly so the Y is convenient to walk or ride to. I host a monthly bible study every first Monday with the Active Older Adults from 10:30 to 11:30. Staff is friendly and courteous. A great place for exercise and meeting new people
The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a wide variety of fitness options and the equipment is updated and well maintained.
I love the Weinberg Y because it is so versatile in the programs and classes it offers. There is something for everyone. The fitness area is huge and amazing--they are always updating the equipment. The classes are free and ever expanding. Water aerobics is available Monday-Friday. There is also a basketball court which is also used for pickleball. Community events are frequently held there. The membership fees are tiered and reasonable priced. It is truly a great community resource.
