The Weinberg Y in Waverly offers many ways to take care of self from the pool to the newer equipment in the gym area, to the group classes, and opportunity to try new group trainings. The monthly payment is worth it for my husband and I. Knowing that it also goes to give back to our local community is make it a win win.

I just love what the Y stands for and the beautiful ways it connects neighbors and community members of all socioeconomic status. I love that the facilities are impressively designed and maintained at a high level, very high quality amenities. As someone who has never earned a lot of money and have utilized spaces or services for low-income individuals, often those places lack funding to provide an elevated experience. The Y provides that elevated experience that everyone deserves but doesn’t frequently have access to.

It was not overcrowded whenever I went. People were friendly and cordial.

I like the fact that I can come in and go to the gym, use bikes, weights and other equipments. Or I can do laps and end it with a few minutes in the sauna.
I like that I can spend a few hours each day, with classes that appeal to me. It makes the cost worth it.
