It has everything you might need. I use the pool and elliptical machines. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I especially like the cozy fire pit in the lobby.

I love the atmosphere of no pressure and everyone is welcome as they are. The stay and play is frankly the only reason we’ve been able to get exercise.
They have something for everyone. My daughter goes swim classes, My wife enjoys yoga, everfit, and flexibility classes, while I enjoy the weight training facilities. Even better we can drop our daughter off while we train and go to classes.
I started a week ago and so far it’s going well for me. I like doing the exercises to increase my mobility. The instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly. Also, I feel safe and secure. The facility is nice and clean.

Overall, my Y experience (Weinberg) has been really good. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I primarily attend fitness classes, all of which have been great. My one issue is that there is some inconsistency in the classes. Quite often the early morning classes are cancelled at short notice or the instructor is 15-20 minutes late (Monday class). This is extremely frustrating when I have a short window in the morning to workout before having to get my daughter to school and myself to work. I also wish that there were early morning classes (6am etc) on Thursdays and Fridays, like at the Towson Y.

The hours are convenient with my schedule. There is a variety of classes included in the membership. Great exercise equipment.
I got a membership for my almost 14 year old son who wanted to start being more active on the gym and who loves basketball and was wamting to build community with other kids. He loves going to the YMCA. He says the staff is pleasant and he feels safe.

Would like to see the Women’s locker room redone: showers fixed, lockers repaired, flooring, etc.
Also, suggest that the person(s) on staff in the gym circulate to see if anyone needs help or has questions.
