Fun
This was my favorite gym in Baltimore when I was working out there a few years back. A couple of broken bones and a financial setback stopped me from attending for quite a while. Their wonderful Open Doors savings helped me get back to working out.
In the meantime they've become even more state of the art. They extended the size of the already large gym, added CrossFit and stretching machines, free weights, a selection of modern treadmills and impressive cardio machines to satisfy any picky runner, and there's always the full-sized basketball courts, swimming pool and sauna.
There are pricier gyms with less equipment, square feet and of course the kind folk who work there. The best fitness deal in our ratty little town!
Excellent service friendly people my kind of people
Friendly fun and family has a great time
Totally love the Weinberg Y.
Please keep the old Cybex machines. They are just fine.
I do not like the new machines in Towson at all. I do not like the egym equipment in Towson.
Friendly atmosphere and clean, offered the water aerobics classes that I needed. as a senior person I wished that the classes prices were a little bit lower, not all of us seniors are on SSI but just social security and maybe , some just a pension. but ido understand the overall price of operations of all YMCAs, have increased in order to keep the maintenance up. and programs operations going. All in all Glad for the waving of the membership fee that's a help .
The people are nice

I like that you have a lot to offer from exercising on the equipment, to exercise classes, activities for the teens to swimming.
Appreciate that the Y is a place people go to exercise, a place that welcomes families, a place where I feel welcome. Like I belong.

I like the variety of programs offered. There are activities geared to a variety of age groups and mobility levels.
my kids and i love going
Convenience, customer service, and equipment.
I love that I can work out and have my son watched at the stay and play. He loves it in there. I have trouble getting him to lewmy only thing is the play ground has been locked almost everyone we come and the one time it was open it was kins of a let down. Yes it is big but there isn't a whole lot for the kids to do. There isn't any interactive toys part of the playground. Also we can't swim if there is a class scheduled which I get but I noticed that no one came to the clan but wasn't informed if it changed to free soen
The freedom to be. Healthy
Great customer service from the entry of the facility. Dressing rooms are always clean and very spacious. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Lots of activities

The classes are great. I love Zumba with Kristen, BodyPump and Total Body.
Classes are timely and instructors are really good.
I love the staff. They are so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly to all members.
Wide variety of group exercuse classes meeting everyone's needs. Fantastic selection of gym equipment.

I love that the Y is so community focused and has everything I need to help my body stay healthy and then some. I also don't feel uncomfortable as a femme-presenting person in the free gym as this is one of the few gyms where men aren't creepy toward me.
