My swimming teacher Maria is wonderful and I'm glad to be able to support my local Y. On the other hand, the showers barely work and there is a strong smell of mildew in the women's locker room. I hope there are plans to address this and I hope the YMCA in Baltimore receives adequate funding to keep up with necessary repairs! I know it's tough and I'm glad to do my part.
I have not been since restarting my membership in November. I just don't have the energy interest or the money and am canceling effective February, 2025. My son enjoys it but does not want to help pay.

A wide array of equipment is available, always clean, and functional with plenty of classes and other resources available to try out.
I've been a member of the Central Maryland YMCA for a number of years. I use the Waverly, Druid, and Towson Ys. I appreciate the way they keep the facilities clean and fresh and update equipment. The staff is friendly. The swim and exercise opportunities are good. Thank you.

I love the ambiance, the facility, the fact that there's childcare. Everyone is also pretty welcome for the most part upon entry!
I love the quality of the equipment. I also love seeing so many different community members there, all making such good use of the facilities for their different needs. It's the best deal in town, too.

People are very friendly and helpful.
The front desk personnel are very friendly and welcoming. I am not a gym person but I LOVE the Everfit and Cardio Dance classes - so much fun!! It's mostly women and we have a great time and support one another.

I usually love the family changing rooms, but the first one on the right when you come from the pool needs help - water does not drain for most of the floor and the shower was dismal - both pressure and temperature. I love the YMCA

The facility is wonderful! I’ve been a member since the opening. It is centrally located and has a wide variety of equipment and programs to chose from for all ages and abilities.
I would like to know if the Women’s Locker Room is scheduled to be refurbished/repaired. I recently returned to the Y after many months. The Womens Locker Room needs lockers and showers repaired and a good cleaning. I sincerely First name removed that this work will be accomplished soon. Thank you!
