I really love the friendliness of the front desk staff. I am not a new member. However, I am a 5 year+ returning member that has really never used the Y services. The front desk staff are very patient and kind as well knowledgeable. I appreciate their respect for those whom have not a clue when coming through the doors.
Personal trainers, the pool, the park, basketball, everything, customer service the most.
Our family uses the open gym to play basketball almost daily and we attend several group fitness classes a week. We like that children can work out while parents do to, making it much more palatable to get tweens and teens to the Y (rather than putting them in kid care or limiting them to ping pong.)
I would love to see more high intensity group fitness classes in the 9am to 12noon time slots (the focus seems to be on low-impact classes, Body Pump excepted.) Other gyms we have attened offered Tabata, HIIT, boot camp, and cardio barre/cardio Pilates and they were very popular.
Same for small group training, the evening hours are not ideal for adults with a busy family, I would love to see something in the morning hours.

This Y offers a variety of activities and programs. Most seem to be geared toward families/persons that have their weekday afternoons free; I am an afternoon worker, so I miss out on a lot of the programs.
The staff here are wonderful!
The water exercise classes are great, especially Darryl's fitness class and the Aqua Zumba classes. I took swimming lessons in 2017. This is a good place for basic lessons and stroke improvement. It's not exctly ideal for people taller than 5' tall who want to learn to tread water as the pool is only 5'deep at the the deepest point. Still, this is a gret place for families.

I love the family atmosphere and the commitment and dedication of Staff. They instructors are regularly present to teach the classes and this means a lot.
The facility is always neat and clean. Security is usually present either inside or outdoors. This makes me feel safe coming and going.
It has so many ways to exercise. People are usually friendly and nice. It's clean & well maintained.
Love the ataff. Most are nice and helpful. Cleanliness is obviously important. It's convenient to where I live, my teen daughter loves it!

I think my kids enjoy ‘Jason’, the security guy there the most. I’ve met him on a few occasions going there with my kids. But when I don’t go with them, I always still here about him.
He related to the teenagers there on their level, and challenges them on that basketball.
Everything it offers many different things to help me stay fit.
The comfort in knowing everyone is there for a reason and willing to help. No judgements and how friendly everyone is.
I like that the machines are updated. I appreciate the gym being kept clean.
The atmosphere is very friendly and accommodating. The fee is affordable. The plus is that the facility is in my community.
My son and I took a guest to the YMCA. It was a new nice facility which was clean and fun. Our guest really enjoyed swimming there and being able to work out.
The staff was very friendly and courteous to us. We were greeted at the door by a freindly nice gaurd. The staff took care of us and helped us in, and directing us to the family changing rooms and the pool.
The three of us really had a good time. The other kids there were nice and my kids enjoyed playing with them in the pool. I would highly recommend this facility to my Freinds aid family.

Well from the first day entering the gym the love and respect was right there. And it doesn't get any better than that. I love the Y on 33rd.......💪👍

Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Great mix of music. The pool gets murky at times, but other than that, it's great.
