What do you like about your Y experience?

Clean, friendly, fun environment, From infants to seniors, diverse rainbow of colors, swim, dance, cycle, punt, pass, dribble and grunt to the tune of a healthy lifestyle. I've been a member for only four months and all of the cardio equipment has been replaced with new already. Plenty of parking! I LOVE THIS PLACE!

What do you like about your Y experience?

I already did refer someone to the Y- Sosi Lepejian. I think the gym is convenient, clean, and has the classes and equipment I want to use.

Only quibble is that I think the front door should be open either by buzzer or card swipe. Lots of people run, walk, bike, or take the bus to the Y. It takes about 2 minutes to walk from the front entrance to the back entrance. Having the front doors available for exit only also makes it seem like the Y is afraid of its own community.

Ms. Ashley David was my son's swimming instructor and he has made so much progress with her. I am truly pleased and thankful. She is child friendly and knowlegable of teaching kids.

What do you like about your Y experience?

The friendly employees and unpretentious atmosphere. I love the workout equipment upgrades.

I wish the pool was saltwater-based. Towson patrons can’t be the only ones enjoying that non-chlorinated life.

Yes, we’re quite happy with the facility.

I would suggest that you dispense with the requirement that gym equipment be wiped down after use. This really serves no useful purpose and is a nuisance to those exercising.

As I recall, there is no such requirement at the Downtown Athletic Club.

What do you like about your Y experience?

I love having a Y membership! It has allowed me to fully embrace rock climbing. It’s a great workout and something I’m trying to make become a regular part of my life! I’ve been having a blast climbing with the crew here. The times for climbing are a little bit limited. Also I wish you could do bouldering without needing a belayer. Other than those two minor drawbacks my experience has been very positive. It sure beats paying the high price for an earth treks membership. I’ve already encouraged other climbing friends to sign up and join me! Thanks for the opportunity to climb!

From the friendly and personable staff to the new and improved facility. I love everything about my YMCA! My whole family has become part of my fitness journey and my fitness journey wouldn't be the same without the work of the Y!

I enjoy my swimming lessons at the Y. I've had two great coaches with the Y. Most recently, I am working with Briyana Fraser-Wilkerson and my swimming abilities and comfort in the water have taken off.

My son's improvement and attention to the game increased week by week. Good instructors extremely positive and hands on. The drills were technical and fun the kids loved them and we're challenged in learning multiple skills.
