It was nice to be able to sit down after a good work out and have a variety of drinks and snacks and watch a little tv.
My kid loved it and had a great time!
I've been working out with Alexandra in various small groups since last September (Project You, small group spin-off from Project You, Women on Weights, Advanced Women on Weights), and she is incredible! She has taken a former marathoner turned total fluffball who half-assed it on the Elliptical machine after breaking both legs (stress fractures), and returned her to someone who can actually run a 5K without a walk break and loves leg day. Also, I can easily lift the water cooler jugs at the office when they run out and everyone else pretends they didn't take the last splash (Seriously, has no one heard of "You Kill It, You Fill It"!!??!!).
She's awesome. Even on days when I get to the Y know that working out is something I *have* to do, Alex's positive energy reframes the time spent into something I *want* to do. At the same time, she gets it when I'm just "not there." I've had a weird and tough year with friends passing away, and each time she's been amazing with her understanding of needing a night off whether I've shown up at the Y unable to give 100% or just not come at all and sending a workout later. It's very much appreciated.
Sadly, I'm skipping the next session of AWOW due to some unavoidable commitments that'll make dedicated gym appointments difficult to maintain through the summer. However, I highly HIGHLY recommend working out with Alex to anyone who might be looking for a trainer. Just, ya know, leave a space for me for AWOW Session 3: I'm coming back in the fall!!! :D
Family friendly and great facility
no / low cost childcare for the win!
My son loves the playground, it's HUGE. Also, the staffs are friendly especially the ones in the Stay n' Play area.
I love that it feels like a community, and it's inclusive for all people.
The teachers and staff are amazing people and my daughter learned so much. We love the YMCA day and highly recommend it!
First all I have to say that the reception ist Imani was exceptional, very personable, polite, n professional.
The facility is clean bright n pretty much complete. I have a great time
Our daughter liked this class, great instructor!
The friendliness and one on one personal attention!
Nice friendly people (especially for the 530am folks). It is easy to navigate and I love the Active Trax App. The machines are clean and most are fairly new.
Since you asked...I wish there was more space, however. The machine areas are pretty tight when it is busy and there could be more stretch/dumbbell areas/space. You could also use another leg press machine - it is the most in demand!
Thanks.
Just what my child needs! She’s improving and her confidence in the water is growing!
My son loved this program!
The instrutors were nice and engaging, but the projects were always finished ahead of time. There should be a back-up plan to keep the kids engaged (they started playing at the kicker table once they were done)
This class was really nice, the instructor connects with the kiddos and parents alike.
Lots of fun for my little one!

Live it staff is friendly and helpful
My Instructor Dara was so Personable, Informative and Hands on. She took her time and explained every machine to me. Her suggestions were dead on and I love coming to the Y. Everyone I encountered, Staff and Patrons were personable and encouraging.
I LOVE everything about this place.
I like that the Y has many options available: swimming pool, basketball courts, gym. I also like that the facilities are large enough to handle a lot of clients.
It's a great environment really enjoy the service and other folks who visit the gym
I love this place
Unlike other fitness clubs to which I was a member, I like the convenience and the availability of class schedules that do not just focus solely on accommodating the "Stay at Home Moms and Housewives. I can appreciate that I can attend classes that fit my busy work schedule.
Family friendly place with a lot of things to do for the whole family.
We love the Y!
But this class has been the worst I have ever enroled my kid in!
She does not interact with the kids, she constantly turns her back to them, being unable to correct and mistakes.
She wears tennis shoes when teaching ballet and the exercices she shows are too complicated for smaller kids, at least at the speed she is teaching.
The instructor definitely is a good dance, but not a good fit to teach young kids.
Classes never started on time and were often ended early and abruptly.
The good thing is that she eventually switched to another room with a mirror for the last couple of classes.
Group classes.
I love the y it a place I know that my child can have a great time and be safe.
I like the fact that my granddaughter get to fulfill her dream of doing gymnastics.
