Big clean modern facility with exercise options for everyone. The gym offers lots of machines and weights. The high ceilings and large windows make for a rejuvenating workout. The facility is always kept clean. The staff members are great!

The Y Towson is beautiful and everyone is so friendly

I like the variety of classes and I like the building.
Variety of group fitness classes, the frequency of Pickleball, meeting new people and the friendships I have developed. I also like that the Y supports the community and has a variety of youth programs.
I take the aqua classes which helps with the aging process. I love that the pool has a deep end unlike a lot of the other Y pools.

Reason for a 9 and not a 10
new True machines do not seem to be as reliable and
things are breaking down regularly from age and or maintenance scheduling (HVAC pool)
and
High School - College kids take up weight machines for long periods b/c in groups and on phones from 11 am on with some times more than others
so have to avoid certain time
love the new YouTube displays while on cardios

Staff is very friendly, welcoming to all types of families, excellent services (classes, exercise facilities, rock wall, pool). It’s a wonderful place and very well run. It’s my favorite gym and community area, I’d recommend it to anyone!!!
