Professional performance all the way
Two thumbs up
I love how friendly everyone is and the variety of classes available. The gym itself is very modern, and at the same time warm and inviting. Lots of natural light and open spaces as well as relaxing spaces.
The facility, the staff, especially Ivan, personal trainer.
I'm also impressed with the range of equipment and activities available, both individual and group.
Before joining recently I had no idea how much the Y had to offer.
Great classes (Barbara)
See friends and meet new friends
The Y as the atmosphere of a community center with fitness equipment and programs ... a community center which offers a broad range of programs and activities which benefit people of all ages and economic status.
The various opportunities to work out or swim with people i trust. I really like whites and people of color sharing space. I am 86. the steps down to the pool and Parkville is a considerate and helpful addition. many thanks. Ed Loring
Family setting, diversity of members.
The atmosphere is great and the staff is very professional, courteous and definitely helpful here in Towson.
It's comfortable for someone who is not a gym rat.
Everyone on the staff was very welcoming and always greeted us with a smile.
I'm just returning after pre-covid, and have only participated in one class so far, but it's good to be back! The range of activities, always with good coaches, makes it so awesome!
Ability to work out basically any time of day within the hours.
the hours, the flexibility & the diverse clientele
I love the variety of machines. I love the cleanliness.
I love the group workout sessions, the gym area and the pool workout sessions. The staff is always nice as well,
Here's a thing...since you asked.
It's about the pool. I gotta tell ya. When it comes to reassigning lanes in the pool for safety assessment or "lessons," why do you reassign the ONE water walking lane when there are FIVE lap lanes?! Why not take away one lap lane for the lesson/assessment? That way everyone can continue what they are doing with minimal inconvenience/disruption. Kinda Kantian in nature this thinking. Greatest good for the greatest number...Math that for me, please.
Love pickleball and the splash pad for kids
I like the variety and number of yoga class types and instructors.
Convenience, quality of equipment. And great sraff
The friendly atmosphere, the staff, and the equipment.
the new splash pad is great!
I do not frequent the Orokawa facility now, though I joined there, but the Weinberg and Druid Hill sites have provided excellent classes and facilities.
Staff is always super-friendly and exceptionally helpful. A great place for my whole family to go for exercise
I love the Egyptian equipment
Friendly staff & members, clean and up to date equipment, great classes (love WERQ).
Everyone is so friendly and the facilities are excellent! The bathrooms/changing rooms around the pool do get a pretty gross from constant use, so I recommend installing hygienic toilet seat covers and lysol wipes (similar to those that are stationed next to every machine in gyms) so people can wipe things down if needed. That's the only issue I've found so far, and one that is easily remedied!
The Y is clean, the staff are kind and helpful, there’s a huge range of machines and spaces to exercise, there’s a sense of community.
Friendly staff always willing to help.
Modern, up to date equipment.
Fitness programs for all age groups.
I like the vibe of diversity among members. I like the feeling of community. I like the people at the front desk who are friendly and knowledgeable. I like the varying options of ways to work out. I like the availability of a sauna. I like how close a drive it is for me.

The Y is clean, well-equipped, and easy to use. It has a friendly, helpful, staff.
