The Y is always clean and the employees are always pleasant and professional.
Our experience as new members of the Y has been outstanding! From the initial member ship intake to use of all the activities, all our interactions with Y staff and volunteers has been extremely positive. It has a great neighborhood feel, but at he same time, extremely professional. Facilities are clean and modern and varied by areas of interest and level of competency. Love it!

love the people & the environment. As I mainly use the pool, I wish the lifeguards patrolled the swim lanes a bit better. There are people who just jump in a lane that already has 2 swimmers in it & expect others to swim around them. I think this is more due to not knowing the rules rather than disregard for others.
If the pool schedule could be posted in the locker room would also be helpful, as it seems the schedule on the website isn't as up to date as it could be.

I wish there were more text updates about pool closures-- twice in the past month I have arrived at 5:20 am to learn that the pool is closed. One the time the open time was estimated to be 6 am but when i returned at 8:45 it was still closed (and there hadn't been an update)

Tour was very informative, and the facility is exceptional! I was at the Y for the first time last night. The weight room and cardio were packed. It was difficult to get a good workout in because I was waiting for machines. Since everyone registers electronically it would be nice to post on the website some kind of meter/capacity, which will allow people to choose when to come.
Everything I want and need for exercise is available. The staff is very friendly and helpful if needed. The facility is kept very clean.

I am almost 81 years old and love the aqua Zumba class. I need water exercises due to multiple joint replacements so this is perfect for me.
Staff are nice. Kids are having fun.
The ability to access all the Y has to offer as opposed to different gyms and the friendliness of the staff when engaged in conversation or assistance.
Our family has enjoyed the classes and facilities at the YMCA in Towson. Our only note of improvement would be that the communication from the Director of the Swim Program has not been good. It has been confusing and often times I do not get a response when I have sent emails with questions.
Friendly staff, willing to answer questions and help when they can. Locker rooms are generally kept clean, though more regular reviews of the toilet areas is always improtnat.

The Towson facility is fabulous! It's so well-designed and pleasant. The fitness room is nice (but I don't the E-gym stuff) and usually well-maintained. My trainer is outstanding (Mary Gardner). Parking is almost always available.
Staff is very friendly, except once in a while a person on the front desk doesn't seem to care. Michelle is wonderful!

EVERYTHING! the only exception is the cleanliness of the bathroom/shower areas, which could do with a bit more attention. Everything else is wonderful.
