Just resumed membership. Everyone is friendly, clearly they like their work and the place. Kind of like family.
The Towson Y is clean, has state of the art equipment, it has a good variety of classes to choose from and the staff and members are friendly. I started out with an individual membership and recently changed my membership to family so now my husband & daughters are enjoying it too.
Polite staff, proximity to my home
The family orientation is great and the staff makes it very comfortable. I wish there was a way to know how crowded the weight room and cardio is. My reason for asking is sometimes it takes almost 1 1/2 to 2 times longer to get through a workout. Also, in a previous life I was a member of Planet Fitness and I could see on the app how crowded with a "Crowd Meter."
Love the atmosphere and the employees are very professional and kind. I also enjoy having members of all ages as it truly is a community facility. I am certain they are trying to get the current HVAC issues resolved as it is somewhat warm during exercise now!
Please remind people to wipe down equipment. This does not seem to be a top priority from management.

Staff is friendly and professional. There is usually a lane available in the pool. Problems are addressed promptly.

I just had an orientation for the EGym with Malique (sorry if I spelled it wrong) he was awesome! Very friendly kind and helpful!
Overall my experience has been great. I wish you had walk lane at the pool for entire day. Also to make sure seimmers doing laps are kept out of it.

I use many Y activities and programs, including the pool, cardio room, E-gym and book group. I have been a member for about 35 years and the Y is a central part of my life. My husband had long hesitated joining the Y and even he has now joined and has become a huge fan of the Y.

It is a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. I love the classes I am currently taking: Chair Yoga and Flexibility!
Friendly people helpful staff
I've never gone to a gym that has felt so friendly and welcoming. It's great that there are always programs going on with opportunities to help out in the community. I really feel like I belong here!
