Love that you have so many options for classes, especially for seniors.
Accessibility and friendliness of staff
I generally only attend the cycling classes. My sons will be joining soon. They are young adults and I very much appreciate the minimal added cost as they are both still in school.
My only requests would be to add an evening cycling class as I can never do a complete morning class due to my work hours. In addition, it is not infrequent that the bikes need maintenance and it seems to take a while for that to happen.
However, the instructors are wonderful and all the staff is always happy and friendly even at 6 in the morning!
The flexibility of schedules, specially the Zumba and spinning classes.

Just love the facility, especially swimming laps in the pool.
I like the senior classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. However, there are too many people in them. Sometimes, there are no more spaces, no more mats, and no more 3lb. weights. There needs to be a second senior class, perhaps in the 10 AM slot. We have to fight the worsening early morning Austin traffic to get to senior exercise class.
Also, Meredith is very good; but she needs to slow the pace slightly between activities to enable us to sip water a couple of times during the hour. All senior instructors need to offer exercise modifications for the 20%+ of us who have low bone density and should not be doing crunches or exercises that require twisting or forward flexion.
I like the kids sports activities, support for those with special needs, lunch time 'member' basketball, the weight room, and the sauna/steam.
Diverse and interest programs that fit every level of exercise and conditioning.
yoga classes rock.
I like that there are yoga classes in the late afternoon and on weekends so that I can come when I'm off work. I also love the indoor pool and how it is open at 5:30 am on weekday mornings so I can come in before work. The Third Coast coffee in the lobby is super tasty and my husband likes all of your rowing machines.
I love the personal training sessions with Alicia. She is very knowledgeable and pushes me more than I would do myself yet not so hard that I give up or get injured. Also, she switches up the program frequently which keeps it interesting. I recommend Alicia to others unconditionally.

Love the Y. Wish you would open earlier on Sundays. There are dozens of folks waiting outside and for things with limited capacity (the pool) that cropwds everybody.

I like that you have a large number of classes scheduled throughout the day, including classes that start at 7:15pm to allow for those who work later. This is extremely helpful for me since I work past 6pm.

Variety
I love the group ex classes. All of them. Yoga, cardio dance, zumba, pilates, strength training, CX works, spin... The teachers are excellent and they do a great job.

I attend yoga classes 2-3 days a week, have for the 6+ years we’ve lived in Austin, and thoroughly enjoy them. I use cardio equipment (usually the elliptical) on those same days and in addition to the exercise enjoy the peaceful view toward Town Lake. The friendly staff and friendly members. The fact that you do not have 85” flat screens blasting Fox and MSNBC at me.
