Really nice place for swimming or doing gym!
I love the pilates and yoga classes. All the instructors are great and there is always something for everyone. Every class feels accessible and welcoming while also providing different levels of challenge. Amanda, Q, Elizabeth, and Kymberlie are my favorite instructors! I always know the “why” behind the movements and exercises I am doing which helps me stay invested in my health and growing my strength. I love the diversity of everyone at the Y as well, I feel comfortable being myself and trying out anything. The front desk staff is always welcoming and kind, especially Ruvi! I love the Y!

Lots to chose from. Hours convenient to everyone
Great classes, friendly staff, pleasant facility.
I like the swimming pool best. It's temperature-controlled and has good open hours for lap swimming.
The spin classes need help. Send the instructors to visit the Houstonion for a couple of days to see how it's done well. I feel sure the Houstonion would be glad for the YMCA instructors to visit for a while. A couple of tips: instructors should always begin and end class on time and should know how to operate the AV equipment without taking 5 minutes of class time to figure it out. Do all classes indoors; you have a good room for it.
The variety of activities is excellent; I haven't tried them all, or anything approaching them all, but the listing looks very good.
The locker rooms could stand improvement. Furnish towels. I know, it would cost more, but do it anyway and raise the monthly tariff. Keep locker rooms clean and don't let the floors get wet and slippery.
Aquatics and ease of commute
I love the yoga and Pilates classes, love how friendly and welcoming everyone is, love the diversity of the membership at the Y and how it is accessible to people with fewer resources, and just generally love the vibe. It's one of Austin's true gems.
Excellent instructors and front desk employees, well-rounded programs, a class for everyone, always very clean and tidy. I have been coming for over 10 years and I have never had a bad experience!
My thanks to all!

I love that you have Pickleball, I see that you have an advanced class now, which is great. Because I’m not in advanced and I don’t want to play with the advanced players. And there is an open play. you used to have a beginner time slot, not many showed up. So that was canceled. there needs to be an intermediate class or 2.0/2.4. Sometimes these advance people don’t want to even give up their court during open play, to let other people play.
