My three favorite parts of TownLake YMCA are: (1) yoga classes (Ginny's outdoor vinyasa and Jules' yin classes); (2) the pool; and (3) the weight room.
The ability to use all area YMCA locations.
The variety of group classes.
The lap pool.
It's great to have all of these machines to personalize my workout!
Very friendly staff… The YMCA in Buda needs more Spin classes.
The front desk staff is SO AMAIZING! The equipment is excellent. I recently spent the weekend in San Antonio. While there I went to 3 other Y's. None of them were as nice as the Townlake! I feel blessed to call it my Y.
There’s a wide variety of classes for different age groups. The equipment is well maintained, and the facility is clean. Personnel are friendly and helpful. It’s a popular place, which makes parking a problem sometimes.
I love the slow flow and hatha yoga classes! I also like the environment in the weight room- very respectful and not too masculine, so that women feel comfortable.
The variety of classes and high quality instructors.

Aerobic aqua classes that meet my current needs
Available programs and machines, knowledgeable staff
Staff and instructors are great, classes are worth every minute, and facility is in good/clean shape. Extremely happy since starting my membership here.
I like the water aerobic classes. They are well-suited to my fitness level, easy to follow, and the instructors are great (although we all really miss Juan Ibarra!).
Variety of fitness forecasts
My wife and I visit 2 or 3 times a week for free weights and weight machines. We love the Y. She also uses the elipitical.
I am not happy that so many young members occupy weight benches and machines and stare at their black rectangles. I'm the old guy who politely tells them the Y is a no-cell-phone zone. Most ignore me. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOUR TRAINERS STARTED REMINDING FOLKS. It's really become a nuisance.
Availability of time for Ping Pong
I like the atmosphere and the facility is clean and pleasant, Staff are friendly and helpful.
Easy to see the schedule on the app.

Excellent workout environment & great Zumba class & excellent. Teacher Natasha
I can only go on Saturday due to traffic and parking. Susie in Core and Claire for Grit are amazing instructors.
They are well- taught, there is a level and genre of class for everyone; the machines are up to date and available; the staff is helpful; the facilities clean.
I only use the instructional pool. I am 76 years old and have been using the pool for over 12 years. We do arthritis exercises to work all our joints. It helps us move, get up and down, and slow down the aging process. The most recent director and aquatics director have listened to us, The directors rearranged the schedule for us for the summer. We really really really appreciate it. We know children need to learn how to swim and allowing us to come at noon has been the biggest blessing. Thank you so much!!!
Programs and activities are good for both young and old.
A lot of classes at different times. Super welcome to the community!
The staff is so friendly!
I love all the exercise classes; all the instructors are top-rate! It's amazing to me how many wonderful classes there are!

Everyone is very friendly. I love the Sunday strength water class with Jennifer! Thank you!
