Child watch is great. Access to the trail is amazing. Updated machines help. Sunlight into cardio area is positive.
I love the positivity of the staff and the welcoming environment
It has everything I need and it’s in a great location and it’s totally affordable! I love
it!
Close attention from great swim instructors made me feel way more confident as a swimmer after just four weeks!
Love the family activities offered that fits the family from baby swimming to elderly Pilates. Also like the diversity of the Y members and instructors.
Y’all have a super facility with everything a person could possibly need along with terrific group programming — and without the obnoxious attitude that’s common at other gyms! Also I like the wholesome Christian foundation that’s not in your face but really gives the Y a sense of purpose. Thanks for everything you guys do.
The sauna and steam room
Clean facilities, variety of classes
All different kinds of people there
The adult beginner aquatics instructor was very patient and thought of different ways to help me learn the strokes. I want to take the beginner class again when I have time so that I can work on these skills some more.
Location is great, facilities are excellent, and my son wants to come back to hang out in the kid's room! He can play and I can run when it's too hot or too cold to run outside. Win-win.
The Townlake Y is the best yoga deal in town. Every time I enter the building I get a warm welcome. I really do feel like I'm part of the YMCA Community here.
Great teachers and wide range of programming. Very welcoming community!
Clean, happy place to count on exercise in uneven weather (extreme heat to freezing rain); great pool; programs for seniors. Especially appreciate opportunity to mingle with seniors as most of the people in my life are wonderful young people. I tell people, "Healthy things happen here."
Everything in YMCA is excellent

I like the inclusive community at the Y. I particularly like the spin classes. There are a wide variety of ages in Genevieve's lunchtime spin class, and the atmosphere, thanks to her, is very welcoming.
My primary activity is yoga classes, and I appreciate the variety of types and times. The teachers are all excellent. It is helpful to have machines when I want to do cardio at the same place. It is good that there are other physical activity classes to choose if I feel inclined.
The indoor pool!
I love working with my personal trainer, Michael Wafer. He has helped me improve my mobility and strength more than any other trainer I have ever worked with. He's extremely knowledgeable about a lot of different kinds of exercise, and his manner as a trainer is motivating and compassionate.
Indoor swimming
More pickleball!
Water programs.Fruendly staff and ambient light inside. I so appreciate the coffee!
Give members parking stickers or tags and tow everyone else. This is the main complaint from everyone. All else is good.
All staff is nice, plenty of times and everything is clean and have all equipment needed.
The YMCA is very welcoming to all people. The programming is outstanding. I really enjoy the group exercises.
Great facilities and classes!
My daughter and I truly benefited from the aquatic program. I am sad that you are not offering group lesson on Saturday mornings anymore. We are eagerly awating new Saturday classes so we can return.

I love the group classes, BodyPump, BodyCombat, and Zumba. Amy with BodyCombat and BodyPump is THE BEST! Ok, she ties with Lily for BodyPump, but my schedule doesn't allow me to see Lily. But Amy's "fight" and humor really works well.
Phil and Crystal are fabulous Zumba instructors.
I have one complaint with two BodyPump instructors, Michael at 6pm Tuesdays and especially Jocelyn 6pm Thursdays. They have the hardest time calling, and staying on beat. It's very distracting and since I know what the counts are supposed to be and I have rhythm, I end up looking out of place when really they are calling wrong and most students are just following them. It really turns me off from going to their classes. I've skipped dozens of times because I'm just not up to the bad calls. They are also the two instructors who talk in between songs way too much. The flow of their classes really needs to be better.
