Senior exercise classes. But need more classes for them.
Austin has the best Yd
I love the diverse community and staff of the Y! I love the homey, non corporate, well-cared--for atmosphere of the Town Lake Y!
Thank you for all you do!!! ♡
The community feel and variety of programs is fascinating.

Variety and times
Variety of classes available with good teachers. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, well organized workout spaces with plenty of equipment and lots of windows.

Mainly I love the location and the great community vibe. However, the parking situation is awful at times. Perhaps you should limit the number of members so that you're not exceeding the capacity of the parking or the facility.
Love how many group activity options there are throughout the day. Would be great if there were a few more evening options!
The variety of classes offered
I’m very happy with the swim instruction my 4 year olds are receiving. Our instructors have all been wonderful!
Great variety of classes. BEST community of people. Such a positive place, always a cheerful greeting from the front desk folks.
love that there is something for every family member.
Pilates on Monday and Wednesday evenings with Elizabeth is the best class ever. Her class is the only reason I drive across town to go to the town lake location and a big reason on why I have a ymca membership.
It's a friendly place to go get movement!
The classes are challenging but easy to modify as my fitness level changes. The facilities are clean, the amenities are awesome and there’s no awful music!
The highlight of my week is the Saturday morning Vinyasa class and CXWorks at East Communities.
East Communities is my home gym, but I go to North Austin on Tuesdays to use the hot tub and indoor pool, and Town Lake on Fridays and Sundays to go to some classes and use the steam room.
I wish there were more choices on Sunday morning. I’ve been going to body pump at town lake and it’s very crowded. I’m often finding it hard to do push-ups etc because there’s another person immediately behind me.
Diversity of activities
You’ve got something for everyone and for the whole family and for people of all ages. Which reminds me that I was going to try yoga this year...
I like the aqua yoga, I wish you could have Tai Chi in the afternoon or in the weekends
Swimming activities
Like the atmosphere... hate the parking.
Variety and diversity of programs, good vibe in the facility, easy access from the trail.
I've been a member of the Y "forever" and recommend it often. The great instructors and camaraderie in the classes are my reward for being there early in the morning.

I like my trainer Michael and his ability to create a program that works for me. While I'd like to believe my body is still 18, the reality is that I've lived long enough that some body parts have expired warranties.
The staff is always warm and welcoming. Their attitude makes regular gym attendance much easier, even on days when I would rather curl up on the couch.
Members exhibit the kind of fellowship that encourages continuing the fitness experience. Some days are easier or harder than others but it helps to know we all keep trying to do what we can, and maybe a bit more.
