I am happy that there is a gym I can take my children to for exercise (basketball) right now given the extreme heat and Covid. I was very pleased with my experience reserving and using The gym and plan to do it every week.
The safety of outdoor classes. The procedures y'all have in place for maintaining social distances and cleaning of surfaces.
I like the aqua fitness classes. I particularly liked the senior chair exercise program when it was offered.

You have a very friendly, informative staff, and have handled the COVID debacle with Wisdom. I returned to exercise today for the first time since the shutdown. I was quite impressed with the preventive steps you have taken...,and your warmth in welcoming me back. Special kudos to all the staff, but especially Julie.
When I joined, a YMCA associate patiently showed me how to navigate your well-designed online registration site: I can easily register to swim laps.
Your facilities are safe and very clean.

Just a good old fashion, no complications, gym
We love the Y. Went for family swim and it was safe and easy. The lifeguards were so friendly, too.
I went to Body Pump for the first time in months last week. It was also safe and easy! It felt so good to move my body and see familiar faces!
We hadn't been to the gym since the beginning of quarantine and were starting to go a little stir crazy, but we were nervous to go to a public gym. We were immediately put at ease when we got in. Welcoming smiles (under masks) and an amazing amount of work to make sure that everyone felt safe. From mandatory masks to social distancing tape around workout areas to mandatory disinfectant bottles. You guys are amazing and we are so appreciative.
Also, your staff is second to none.
I am grateful for the attention to good health procedures for the lap swims. I am older, and the ability to swim laps makes it possible to keep exercising in this heat. Thank you!

pool. sorry to hear hours are being cut back due to lack of participation. this hurts working people who need the Y in the evenings. it's a great outlet for current stresses.
The facilities have everything I need and are kept clean. The staff and patrons are always friendly.

You all are incredibly organized! The online system for signing up, being reminded, the ability to cancel so that others on the waitlist can take advantage of what you offer, is fabulous! Keep up the great work! And your employees are kind and positive!
Affordable, diverse activities, diverse audience
Although I use the pool exclusively, I am very proud to support an organization that serves a diverse community so thoroughly. I also experience all staff members to be extremely welcoming and gracious.
I like the weight room, the always-friendly staff, and the availability of the shower facilities after I finish my run on the Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail.
