Im sure the program is great for older children but my daughter didn't gain any new skills. We entered in Spring concerned about her not being able to read. She knew all her letters and the sounds they made coming in and each week practiced those, instead of actually putting words and sentences together which is what she needed help w :(
I feel like it was a miss for us but mgith be good for other kids
My kids both had a blast. I thought that, from what my kids said, class had a lot of variety and maintained interest. My 1 child who hates school and structured programming was actually excited to go every day and it ignited such creativity in both kids.
Desire for increased rigor and instructional structure
They spend almost half of time on administrative stuff and playing uno.
The teacher was teaching some kid online while letting the kids class hang out and play uno.
Waste of time and money. This is a rip off.
I love the flexibility dedication and the patience that the teachers give my child.
My son says the help is helping.He has a long way to go but at least this is some good news.
Our younger teen was starting to struggle with math and definitely did not like us helping him. They also don't really send him home with homework anymore. We let him make the choice to finally accept tutoring, and Sylvan has been great. He never complains about going, and he can see how much it is helping. The staff is super nice and communicative. He's really doing well.

My family have been happy to see our daughter excited about learning and we can see how eager she is to show us her new skills in reading.
We love Sylvan. Such a great experience.
The children had full access to the internet and a student showed my son something very scary. Doesn't matter what he showed my son. The fact that the children have access to the internet with no parental controls is unacceptable and disappointing. The solution to this is very simple and I'm shocked Sylvan does not have a process for this.
Great communication. Our child enjoys learning with Sylvan.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. They are willing to listen and assist if they can. It is a bit expensive but probably within reason for their services.
Daizie really enjoys her tutoring and is improving in her reading and in math.
Finding out that our son is not getting 1 on 1 tutoring is disappointing. He struggles in class because he is embarrassed to ask questions in front of the other kids. Same problem here. Turns out we can get 1 on 1 tutoring for much less money then what we are paying here. I don't see us continuing much longer if it continues like this.
The twins enjoy the learning and look forward o their sessions.
Very much help with academic skills, very professional and improvement is seen in a short period of time
My children enjoy every lesson and look forward to their time with the teachers. It is wonderful to see them engaged with learning and thriving.
I can see some difference on my girl with in one month. I feel this place a great education center to make a difference. Keep it up the amazing job.
Communication great, very organized, results are great
Great place for my child. The atmosphere is very welcoming especially with the staff. They really work with students and parents to meet goals and promote learning that not only capture the attention of students but also makes learning more enjoyable. I’m very happy to have my child enrolled here which is an excellent investment in my child’s future.

My sixth grade son has had a lot of progress in his grades after he has been attending to Sylvan learning, I definitely recommend this place.
It's been one month now since my children joined Slyvan.
The learning has been great, i have noted improvement in my children reading sounds,fluency and comprehension.
This is our second experience with sylvan and fine sylvan very helpful
