We always rave about Sylvan. Especially Darcy and Lloy. Their thoughtful approach and genuine interest in my children’s success and progress means the world to us, especially after taking our daughter out of public school and doing home school. We were thrilled to hear she was making such progress with the change of scenery and the fact that they knew her improvements spoke volumes about how well they actually pay attention to each students success. Thank you for all your support! We appreciate you so much!
The Director level staff is communicative and truly care about the development of the students.
I am pleasantly surprised by my daughter's experience at Sylvan. I had to drag her through the front door on the first day; after a few sessions she actually WANTS to go! This is a huge change for my school-avoiding child. She really likes the tutors, especially Brandy and Vivian. The one-on-one approach is perfect for her, and she really gets into the token reward system. It seems like the teachers really care about the kids and about helping them learn not only their topics, but also to love learning.
My son has only been going to sylvan for about 6 weeks for writing. He loves going (he doesn’t like going to anything) and he just made the biggest improvement on the I-ready reading test at school out of anyone one else in his class. He improved 66 points from the beginning of the year.
We just started attending. You think it will take some more time to see more results. So far she enjoys it and we have seen a few improvements.
It is very expensive.
Sylvan provides an excellent academic setting for my child. She has the flexibility to develop her math skills, using Sylvan's tailored programming, while being able to get expert tutoring for her homework and upcoming exam preparation. The available time slots are varied, even for the often difficult-to-find advance math subject matter. Best of all, our child enjoys the sessions, and always feels more confident afterwards.

Sylvan is a very good place to get more advance learning for students after the school. Staffs are friendly and professional .

More flexibility if need to change appt times with reasonable notice
The person who taught the coding class could be more friendly or social with the parents
This is a fabulous facility with a very caring staff. Lloy is an outstanding center director and is very mindful of improving every customers education level. My children are better off having taken their summer math skills program, and I feel they are well-equipped to tackle the new school year. A+ for Sylvan and their educational approach!
It's the price that is extremely high. I love the instructors and how they motivate my kid, who looks forward to attending classes. But the cost is unreasonable.

Conference & updating on how our daughter is doing (her progress)
So far so good, but the simple fact that my daughter has a dedicated time each week to get personalized help with school is helping her relationship with learning tremendously

We haven't been attending very long so it would be hard to say at this time.
I didn't like that there was one tutor to 4 kids. If I'm paying $50 an hour I expect my daughter to get more one on one time with the tutor.

I like the way Sylvan organize and teach . I would recommend to friends , but for most people it is hard to afford it.
Everyone made Breezy welcome and gave her so much confidence...tailored her studies to fit her needs..
Thank you, Breezy has passed the practice ASVAB test and is preparing for her final ASVAB test and Medical so she can continue on her journey, boot camp...and NAVY...
