How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

My son's teacher made him feel terrible for not knowing the correct answer right away and sighed and rolled her eyes whenever he made a mistake! I was set up and charged for an appointment I didn't want and it's insanely and ridiculously expensive! Never again.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

My son has not always had a perfect fit with a tutor, unfortunately. This has had an effect on his focus and motivation in learning. I know some of this has had to do with our changing of times in his schedule. As of today, August 14th, he is not wanting to continue Sylvan during the school year. I am hoping at our conference on Tuesday, we can talk about a plan for Nathan.

Thanks for sharing your concerns. We can definately talk about this in our meeting on Tuesday, as we want every program to be the best fit for each student. I would love it if he could join us for part of it so I can get his feedback and find out what he feels will be the most helpful during the school year.

I just joined and I don't even know yet... too early to tell if it's helping or not. There isn't a "too early to tell" button, so I gave it a middle of the road rating.

What do you like about our services?

Our son going to Sylvan couple times in a week . Andrey really like it and each time when we ask him do u like to Sylvan. He said yes,all the time happy to go and like it because he start understand in the math what didn't understand before.

What could we do to improve?

In my opinion think there could be more than a monthly discussion of progress with parent(s), and
when signing up be up front about an hourly rate.

What do you like about our services?

The emotional and educational support for my daughter has made a wonderful difference. Meeting her at her reading level to build up her skills and treating her as an individual with the potential to learn has had a positive impact on other aspects of her life, too. Also, the hours are very flexible and the staff has been great. Thank you.

What do you like about our services?

My children LOVE going to Sylvan! They almost always climb back in the car happy and excited about something they worked on during the session. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The system is structured so that everyone knows where they are supposed to be and when. The communication between Sylvan and our family is excellent and timely; Sylvan has been extremely flexible in working with our family schedule. The environment is warm and designed to optimize learning.

What do you like about our services?

Everyone I interact with are nice, polite, helpful, considerate, care about my child and have helped my son with all-around confidence, not just in school. Speaking of school, he's achieved landmarks never thought possible because of everyone at Sylvan. He wouldn't be where is he without them all!

Too early to tell what to improve. My child has only been going for one month and we haven't seen any results related to his school performance yet to tell if the program is working.

Staff was very helpful, always available, offering help as needed. Matthew felt the course was awesome and this was reflected in his increased SAT scores.

What could we do to improve?

Jury is still out. I have yet to see the improvement we are anticipating. My son is an "A" student but needed study skills help. The course has not really addressed study habits yet and we are 1/3 of the way through our program. Hoping we are going to get good value for the high cost.

Ethan and I are both gratefull to the dedicated staff at Sylvan. Darcie Webb has been fabulous! All Ethans teachers at Saghalie likely know he would not have completed the 8th grade without the one on one education he recieved at Sylvan. So grateful... highly recommend to any parent or student having difficulty in the standards of our educational system.. thank you Lindsey Brown

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

scheduling turned into a fiasco. No one there knew what I had scheduled after sitting with a "director" to schedule 4 specific hours on 2 dates. Used a Groupon and then I was billed $176. Sent my child for algebra help and all he received was a math review of concepts he already understood.

He attended the classes as anticipated, working on skills that were needed for Algebra success. We are sorry that this program did not meet your expectations and wish the best for your son.
